do you have any understanding of how well it retains resale value? Or how you can drive it for 300k plus miles easily and it will still be worth a lot... good luck doing that with a wrangler lmao

Its because after 5 years of ownership you can sell it and buy a new 4runner.

Love 4Runners, but there will come a day when people get sick of paying $50k for halogen headlights, 5 speed transmission, traditional key, and 17mpg. A real next generation is desperately needed.

That day prolly won’t come cause there’s gonna be a redesign in the next few years most likely. By then all that will be gone and updated and better. But I get what your saying. I got one and it’s totally worth it for me. Although it’s outdated and missing a lot of features on every other modern vehicle, I like the simplicity and don’t like crazy ass complicated infotainment systems with touch screen for everything. I just love the 4Runner and the simple durable tank like charm it has. Wouldn’t trade it for anything.

I think a lot of people feel this way especially for the 2019 but as Toyota has pointed out at the Chicago Auto Show, 2020 is going to come out with TSS-P, keyless entry and push start. Something I wanted since 2018.

I’ll have to wait a few more months to finally buy one.

This is how I feel. I'd buy one but I'm not spending around 45-50k for technology that's been outdated for a decade or more. I
