A whole year has passed since we took delivery of our 2018 #TeslaModel3 and in that time, we've taken it on some road trips, we took it to the track, and we lived with it every day. While the car is far from perfect, what #Tesla excels at so well is delivering a new type of driving experience that just so happens to fit into your modern day lifestyle incredibly well. Range anxiety is a non-issue when charging at home or using all the superchargers, there is far less maintenance to be done since the car has way fewer moving parts, and you quickly get used to the zero delay acceleration that will smoke most sports cars at stoplights. Tesla also has reduced the price of the #Model3 significantly over the past 12 months and you can pick up a fully loaded #Model3Performance for about the same money as a loaded up BMW 330xi, Mercedes-Benz C300, and Audi A4 but get performance that is better than an M3, C63S, and RS5. #Navigateonautopilot #trackmode #TeslaModel3Performance

This month marks the one year anniversary since we took delivery of the Tesla Model 3! It really has been a car that has opened our eyes to electrification and self driving tech and while no car is perfect, Tesla has truly captured the secret sauce that BMW used to have with the 3-series for many years. No, it doesn't mean we've become huge Tesla fanboys... but we do have great respect for the company and look forward to what the other brands come up with in the next 2 years!

Here are a few time stamps to help you navigate the video:
16:50 - to see all the Tesla Superchargers across the US
21:20 - watch the navigate on autopilot in action
26:57 - see the Track mode on an autocross course
34:05 - wrap up and conclusion

I think one advantage of the petrol engine is you can use the sound of the engine to help race, you can get a lot of feed back just by the sound of the engine.

Just for fun, they should offer an option/app, to turn on or off, where there is an engine sound played through the sound system that mimics the revs and shifts of a gas engine depending on how fast your going, how much throttle you are giving, etc. So you hear the same sounds as if you were driving a petrol engine auto. Should have different engine sounds you can choose from, so you can make it sound like a Ferrari, Limbo, Porch, Challenger, Civic (lol), etc. It would be a gimmick, but still cool, just for fun.

Hey Sofyan, I'd like to recommend Dent Hero (TheDentHero.com) for that dent you suffered on the driver side door of yours... The shop is located in Arlington (Ballston) area and does a phenomenal job with fixing dents at a very competitive price.  He works out of the Mercedes Benz of Arlington so his work really speaks for itself :)  Please reach out to Richard and tell him Bernie with the "Stinger GT" sent you!

$80K for a performance you can get for less than $60K today. You might as well get a model S for that money.

The door ding happen to my car at work on a military base first week I had the car. I was pissed but the car was white and you couldn't tell it was a problem. Sold it for 12K plus and lost it all after a car cash which took all the money I did not have to pay off for the loan.

They are, but Asia's going to absorb that entire factory. For example, Mercedes in Indonesia only services Asia. Australia is right next door but they still get their cars from the other side of the world in Germany because Asia just buys them all up from Indonesia.

$300 to remove that dent. Yeah, it's aluminum and aluminum is a lot harder to push to get the dent out. Cheaper than an automotive body shop. That would cost a hell of a lot more, plus not having the car, plus ruining the factory finish.... Cough up the $300 and don't complain. You have an awesome car.

Getting married loses you as a couple two homestead exemptions which can cost you tens of thousands per year when you end up having a vacation home etc. Very few benefits to marriage imo. Congrats though.

Weird that your autox event allow 2 cars on "track" at the same time. At our events you have to be in the stopbox before the other car is allowed to begin their lap.

You live in NOVA, but the Model 3 is registered in Delaware? I'm assuming registered to the beach house (and to avoid the yearly property tax).

I've had a few panels that were slightly not perfectly aligned with bothers be a bit. And the computer always works. It's only acted weird once, all you do is reboot it, it doesn't mess around with your driving controls.
