Cars are easier to understand than people.

People compare a 400+ hp cars reliability with the reliability of hondas and whatever. If you are scared to swing the wrench don’t buy a bmw. Had a honda civic before also went through a e90,46 and so on. I for sure can tell you that the comfort of the beemer is next level. Fun factor and all that aswell. Regarding the fuel consumption you can whine around if you want but i manage to burn the same amount of gas with the 46 325 as i did with a 1.5 civic.

As long as you allow the engine to warm up properly and allow the cold thick oil to thin and flow your rod bearings should be fine. The problem is people not allowing it to warm up, slamming it in drive and drive it hard. "Unreliable Car Owners"! People always have the misconception that their cars should play its part and hold up to whatever stresses they put it through. What they don't understand is that they have to play their parts too to keep their cars working in tip top shape.

I haven't tracked my e92 M3 since it's cherry at 25k miles no scratches etc. but I'm wondering why race brake pads+fluid isn't enough for these cars? I had 2 miata race cars and although tiny cars, the brakes were also tiny and we had no real problems with them beating on them all day in high temps on r comps. Thanks, Chris

I had to have a bunch of work done on my Honda, do I make a video about it? No... all cars need maintenance and from what I’ve seen, it’s idiots that can’t stop modding or tracking this car that cause all the problems. If you track the car, expect things to break, just like they do in race cars that need engine rebuilds every 10 races - next time just be quiet and let me hear the v8

BMW make the most poor quality unreliable cars. Audi and merc next. German cars are a joke. Sell so expensive, boasting over-engineered and wrongly engineered so-called high tech stuff that just last 5 months just to satisfy some snobbish german car fanboys. Car 101 is reliability, learn to walk before u run.

I never liked the interior design of this car, the second hump in the middle for the screen display looks like an add-on afterthought. The exterior styling is good, but for some reason it always appeared unfinished to me, as if the designer didn't finish the last few details of the design. The idea that the engine could blow up any minute because of those rod bearings vetoes this car as a purchase for me. I cannot afford to buy this car for 20 grand and then have the engine blow and it cost me twenty-five Grand to have it repaired. There are better choices out there.
