The race you all have been waiting for... Dodge SRT Demon vs McLaren 720s in the 1/4 mile drag race. I made the trip to Maple Grove Raceway in PA for StreetSpeed717's youtube callout. It was a long drive but worth it to get a chance at racing against the notorious McLaren 720s. Let me tell you, that McLaren 720s is a serious supercar. The demon is made for the drag strip. Itβll win against anyone anytime with a decent driver. Still wouldnβt want the demon. Itβs a 2 ton block. Iβd hate to drive that thing on a regular.
So it wouldnβt take much to get a 720S on pump gas and street compound tires with a good driver to put the hurts on a full-slicked Demon on race gas with all the crate goodies? Iβll take the 720S all day long, and a Widebody Redeye for the street.

Edit: Also can somebody explain to me @12:35 at the stats how the McLaren has a faster speed (mph), yet the Demon has a lower top speed (mph), but still has the quicker time/finish?
