I always admired Lee Iacocca-he was a true role model to me.the true embodiment of the american dream-that with hard work and perseverance you can do anything you put your mind to,and he proved it.The true american dream he loved this country and his spearheading the restoration of lady liberty was certainly living proof of that.Rest in peace Mr Iacocca,God Love you!.John Guinto

Mustang should only have 2 doors, and Mach E should have been called the BabE Bronco, GalaxE 500, Galaxy 500E, or perhaps Falcon-E
Millennials don't know Galaxy 500, and the Falcon existed and Ford owned them. They should be resurrected.

    • Mario Monclova
      Mario Monclova

Lee Iacocca, Carol Shelby, Henry Ford Jr. Steve McQueen are turning over in their graves. Ford Millennials don't respect Mustang name and badge, and it's Automotive Historical value, and Heritage. Adding a 4 door variant ( Mach E ) removed the Mustang from the Muscle Car category shared with the Challenger and Camaro. The Dodge Charger was removed from this segment, and had been asked by Dodge sales representatives what about the HellCat. My response is that they're are nice family oriented sleepers. I have a 2016 Mustang and will be the last Ford and going to Jaguar F-Type, or Porsche Cayman and Cayenne.

For those saying the mustang Mach-1 electric SUV will replace the mustang sports car, that’s not true, it’s a sub division of the mustang nameplate, the standard stallion will remain in production but ford is trying a experiment with the new Mach-1 Suv, and tbh after 4-5 try’s over the years with different concept cars under the mustang nameplate E.g the mustang station wagon in 1967? And other unique concepts But this is the first time there actually trying something different and actually producing it for that I give them credit. Is it pretty? Debatable. Unique and different? Most definitely.

Do you have any actual proof that Lee Iacocca had anything to do with the DeLorean other than being friends with John DeLorean? It seems that the younger people aren't into this car culture and history. As long as it's good on mileage, has Bluetooth, and a great stereo with lights, they love it! All this history of classic cars and the culture that follows with it, is fading away. Those lucky enough to own classic cars and collectibles, have maybe 20-30 years left til this disposable society has no use or value for them. It's sad but true. I've heard it from collectors for years. I'm on my 2nd mustang GT, and love it. Mostly people 30+ years old care to comment or ask me about it. How do true automotive enthusiasts keep this rich history and car culture going in a world with smart phone apps and tweets? God bless you Jay. What you have, you share with the world with each show. Life in overdrive, and sometimes cruise control.
