Marian took the Mazda 3 for a spin. He's a dad, so if you have a toddler, he goes into that sort of stuff as well.

The USA doesn't get the awd manual transmission option. I guess this must only be available in the European market or either this has to be FWD.

@sic22l I know the car is available around the world. What I'm saying is the car that is being reviewed here is said to be awd manual transmission with awd. I know for a fact that the manual option with awd is not available in the United states becuase the mazda website wont let me build one and I have spoken to a mazda dealer and was told it is not available in that option. So I was wondering. Is it only available in Europe with the manual and awd options together? Or either the person who is reviewing the car was misinformed.

I'd say it's available around the world except NA.

I like how you add more useful info in this driving POV than most car reviewers out there for the info I come look for. Basically you answer all the questionmarks I had for it like how does the steering, brakes and gearbox etc. feel like. Especially glad you commented on the breaks as I personally love linear breaking feel with a significant travel range for the pedal as my Honda Civic 1.8 sport from 2007 has very linear breaking feel (also more weighted/heavier steering which I prefer) as well which makes me almost brake very lightly in situations I might not have to brake necessarily for the sense of it for how great it feels (you are like perfectly in control for the motion) and testing 80% of new cars out there I hate the grippy brakes with a passion. As far as driving dynamics this car was like made for my tastes:

      - Unusually weighty steering (for it's segment; compact family car)
      - Linear breaking performance
      - Short, snappy tactile'ish gearbox
      - Stiffer than average suspension but not extremely stiff

Add the much improved NVH ratio (among the best in class now, ie slightly above (Civic, Golf) from among the worst), class-leading interior (for my tastes it's like perfect for the price and I think I need to go to like twice as expensive cars to find something that appeals my tastes as far as interior design goes) it becomes a really great package if you care a lot about driving dynamics (and ofc the looks/design). From having seen in person and sat in it (not yet driven) I just wish the C-pillar was smaller (bigger rear window for better rear passenger visibility) and it had a bit more legroom for the backseats for taller people and even comfier seats (I'm spoiled to my Honda seats which I love for comfort as they are much wider although I'm pretty skinny I felt the Mazda's was pretty narrow and the sides pushed somewhat on the tighs perhaps, maybe I just like to sit in a weird "crab-like" position idk closer to the steering wheel with the legs more spread out). I think I will go for SkyActiv-X for no other reason that I want the most enjoyable driveable version (122 hp is simply too low without turbo).

Not used in a conventional way though. It gives no additional power/torque to the engine. Its only purpose is to introduce enough air in the combustion chamber to maintain the high compression inside the cylinders.

I prefer Skyactiv-X with her compressor , it's more reliable than turbocharger

Get a diesel (used VW or a Cruze). Skyactix-X will be nowhere near 50.
