I also started out on a scooter (Vespa) despite all the shit I had to put up with during that 2000 km I would do it again.
      *I earned my Ducati.*
In England we were always told to start out of 125cc and work up as you get skills!

Curtis Burnham.... a Harley as reliable as any Honda!?? Lmao... and this guy rides like a tool, talking about if he gave it a little more in that turn and you'll get bucked off. Dude you got a long way to go on your "riding skills"
I'm sorry, I shouldn't judge, maybe your just idling because your vloging. It's not about how hard you ride, it's simply just the joy of riding. Sometimes need to remind myself of that. I'm up to an 08 cbr 1000rr but I ride these bikes like they're meant to be ridden. :)

Little question from France : some people told me that riding first on a 250cc actually gave them bad riding habits that revealed hard to break when trying to get their motorcycle licence (like they didn't hold the bike enough with their legs, which game them a hard time turning on a bigger bike). It's about the same here and in the US, you can drive a 250cc with your driver's licence and a 9 hours class. What's your opinion Cyclecruza ?

I love your channel ! I just discovered it and I'm litteraly binge watching your videos ! I'm trrying hard to get my motorcycle licence right now... Very hard ^^

FreeWorldChannel first off, I've had Honda's of ALL kind. atcs, atvs, cars, motocross bikes, liter bikes and a top cbr.. the most fun I had was on my carbureted 919. With that said I can and will contest to the fact that they are no more reliable than most any other well maintained Kawasaki etc.. I'll say especially Kawasaki. you maintain your bike it will last PERIOD. I can not speak on certain China made brands but if your buying a Japanese brand bike it's as reliable as any Honda. Even modern Harleys are as reliable as a Honda. It must be said again bro. No offense, do you have fun be safe but your on 600 sport bike not a scooter. you could of had just as much fun on a spirited ride on a 250/300 considering how slow you ride that 600. your not using a tenth of that bikes potential.

You know nothing of brand quality. Kawasaki is a great quality bike. You like honest great it doesn’t make it the best

You can start on whatever you want but it ain’t wise to start on a track racer. You don’t even need it if your advanced. Just saying.

Starting on a 600 taught me respect and control on a bike. It had the performance to save me from a few close calls too.

Learned using a 110cc super pocket bike with Honda motor 😅 no joke. $600 off internet and learned the fundamentals of shifting with its 4 speed. Moved up to a ninja 250 which is fun AF. Put 27,000 miles on one. It's not bad if you change both sprockets out to easy up low end shifting. I changed the chain, exhaust and jetted it. It is cheap to fix...I found full body fairings for $270. It's ok to trash around without spending a fortune to learn.
I'd recommend getting a ninja 400 now. Same msrp the 250 was ($5500) and easier to transition to a 600 or 1000.
I saw the 1000rr cbr today at the shop.. nice but $20k tag on it. I want a repsol but the sales guy didnt know if anymore will be produced in future, and didnt know the year the last model was released

started 15 years ago on a kymco super 9 50cc scoot, passed test on it, riding Yamaha vstar 1100 now, few bikes in between. agree with starting on a low end bike/scooter. new riders need to gain that much needed experience/confidence.

So many wierdos on the comments butt hurt because of advice. Lol! If you were able to start on a powerful bike then good for you. But most newbies WON'T be able to do the same. 600 ss bikes are no joke if you don't know what you are doing. If you started from ZERO experience to jump right on a 600cc thats impressive. But very unlikely

Some newbs have to learn the hard way. I think it's idiotic starting on a supersport unless you rode a dirt bike or something. My buddy thought he was a badass starting on a GSXR 750 and he crashed BAD, he was nursing road rash for a long time. He had to learn the hard way. Small bikes are fun in the city anyways, it's cool banging through the gears and wringing the throttle out and throwing a lightweight bike around. You truly can't appreciate fast bike unless you ridden a slow one anyways. You have to crawl before you can walk!

I mean if youve never ridden a motorcycle, moped or a bike. Like I mean to say if you know proper balancing of 2 wheel vehicles and atleast theoretical knowledge on how manual works then go ahead for 600cc but also know your limits. But if you're brand new and need to actually now how manual transmission works, go for 300cc lol
