Emergency Assist monitors your driving to help prevent accidents. If the system detects that you have stopped reacting, it slows down your car automatically. Braking jerks is one of the ways to prompt you to act. The system warns others drivers using different signals including hazard lights. Emergency Assist monitors the distance to the cars in front and helps to keep your car in its lane. Finally the system brakes the car to a standstill.

Why car signals emergency stop so late? in heavy traffic drivers behind will think that he is just slowly breaking and don't intent to stop on middle of highway.

@Ash R It started the emergency signals at about 60km/h when it was driving 100km/h before. A bit earlier would probably be better.
