McLaren has come to really reckon respect in the performance car world. At this point pound for pound probably the best #2019

Crazy to watch this in 2019, now having all the models they're alluding to..P1, 720S, mmm and that hideous Senna.

+Brad Bozarth It does ride oddly high, but there's just something about the proportions that my eye doesn't like. It's clearly a track car and a performer, which tends to produce ugly but very useable cars, but for $1mill+ I would gladly pass.

Ryan Bertoldi if the senna was lower to the ground would you think it looked better? Just curious

I love how no one at mclaren had the foresight to keep a box of tiles in case of breakage and it’s driving the ceo mad πŸ˜‚

Ya, as an ex-builder, I ALWAYS would give the home buyers a box or two full of tiles for each section of the house.

800 degree exhaust. That must be why the Senna’s are catching fire.

So they sent back the new cabinets or the wheels for the new cabinets because they weren't a perfect match? If it's the wheels, I'd lose a lot of respect for McLaren. If it's the cabinets that were wrong, I'd be ok sending them back.

It was so sad to see Ron Dennis go, he was the company's soul. See where the F1 team has been in the last several years.

Bruce McLaren was racing from 15 years old, the same month that he qualified to drive. He was in a dominant position in New Zealand, which was why he came to the attention of Jack Brabham. Jack, at that time, was keeping his racing cars at Les McLaren's garage, and the young Bruce helped on the cars. Bruce and his dad had to sell his Austin-Healey 100-4, plus the family car, to buy Jack's old Cooper car. I met Bruce many times at his Colnbrook factory, as well as at races. He was an amazing person. One thing I am convinced of is that if Bruce hadn't been killed, and he took over the running of the teams, he would NEVER have employed Senna. Bruce didn't like drivers who didn't care what happened to other drivers. As to Ron Dennis? Apart from taking over, getting rid of the kiwi symbol and the colours, he only did one thing right in my opinion. I have an Austrian friend called Willi Opitz, who makes really top class wines. Dennis bought red and white wines from him, labelled "McLaren Formula Wine".
