i went to check this out the other day and when i sat in the driver's seat i couldnt help but notice the huge reflection/glare of the left vent on the window that can block the driver side mirror. Did you notice that too or did it bother you while you drove it? I didnt really adjust my seat so who knows if i can avoid it

You can wear (sun)glasses with anti reflective coating… An Anti-reflective coat can provide drivers with an increase in safety with faster recognition of potential hazards on the road, particularly at night-time. The reflection of a streetlamp or headlights on your lenses is practically eliminated.

The suspension is stiffer - you can feel it when you hit potholes or go over broken pavement, however, it still does a relatively good job at filtering out the bumps. The car also handles better and there isn't that much body roll.

Cool vid! The new Toyota rav4 is alright and the outside looks good I guess since Toyota finally changed their shape because they used that same shape from 2012 to 2016 I’m pretty sure and finally they changed it!

The car handles better comparing to previous generation. The XSE model that I tested has stiffer suspension, which eliminates some of the body roll comparing to other trims. The steering doesn't provide much feedback, but it is relatively precise.

How was the handling? Responsive? Tight?

It was very windy, plus I forgot to turn down the heat so the fan was constantly blowing air into the cabin - that's why you can probably hear it in the video. Overall the car is relatively quiet, however, the engine bay should be better isolated.

+Gran_T That was a funny comment. But still, If you drive on EV mode, technically it will no longer be MPG; it would be measured in "MPGe" units.

That was mostly highway. During my week with the RAV4 Hybrid, I averaged about 38 MPG combined. My best result in the city was ~50 MPG.

+EUROCARGUY Why is the fuel efficiency of this car (Rav4 HYBRID) so low? Sticker says 40/41mpg. Was 36mpg City only or City+Hwy. Was city only higher?

I was using adaptive cruise control. After stop, you can either press the gas pedal or click resume button to get the car going again.

It is very quiet. Not surprising given the hybrid powertrain. Was it a particularly windy day? I also heard they installed hood installation on the hybrid, which would make it much quieter than its gas counterpart.
