Prepare for a deep dive and review on the Acura RDX. The new design was created from the ground up to compete in the Luxury CUV and SUV segment. There are other strong choices like the Audi Q5, BMW X3 and of course the Lexus RX, but we focus in on why the Acura is different. Everyone is always looking for the best SUV or a top 10 list so we avoid comparisons and just focus on the technical details.

Looking for a new or used vehicle, watch and learn!

Holy shit! You've gone off the charts with the music and the cinematography this time. Plus, the amount of detail, the engineering explanations and research, and all the hard work put into this video. It shows! We really appreciate what you do man. Your one man operation is better than the entirety of MotorTrend.

Excellent, thanks for the review. Full of logic, full of reality, very good visually. The more affluent SUV crowd may never be aware enough to view it, but the Acura Dealer network should be playing it frequently on a big screen in every show room. ...otherwise, how could anyone hear the name Savage Geese and not smile, unless they were traumatized by a nip in the butt by a goose as a small child.

Fantastic review of the RDX, what more can be said that hasnโ€™t already. How about a trip to China to review the CDX and talk some sense into Acura so theyโ€™ll bring it here?

I don't understand the "demand" for easy access to drive modes. This is a luxury crossover/suv with a big honking knob in the center stack! I don't think most consumers care what mode it's in or how easy it is to adjust. They could do so much more (like add the source know mentioned in the video).

Also, not a fan of the tablet style infotainment screen. It actually looks cheap and doesn't flow with anything.

Overall though, it's a nice vehicle...with plenty of opportunity.

You are definitely the best reviewers video or not and your videos are the best there are out there today. Good work. I'd recommend the traditional car mags to shut down. I'd also say to the many other youtube reviewers including some famous ones; stop.ย
Just something to nitpick... Your website surprises me. It doesn't have the class your videos have. And, if you can please add credits, so we can thank all the folks who are involved in this whole production.

Thinking about buying Acura MDX? Think again.๐Ÿ”ฎ๐ŸฆŒ๐ŸฆŒ๐ŸฆŒ How come, Acura. Three weeks passed and no answers. ๐ŸฆŒ๐ŸฆŒ๐ŸฆŒ๐Ÿ”ฎA car under warranty 25 000 miles was towed way to the dealership. Three weeks have passed and they are still looking into the issue". It's like looking for a niddle in a haystack" they said. "Something with electronics " Meanwhile No loaner is provided by Acura!!! The only offer from them was to tow the car to a different dealership at Your expense. Be aware. Acura MDX will broke , Acura road assistance will come 15 hours later and tow it away. You'll not hear from them for three weeks. They will not give you a loaner or pay for your rental car because " what if it's not a warranty case". Acura client relationships says " we understand your frustration. They are still looking into the problem with your car". Stay away!๐Ÿค‘๐Ÿค‘๐Ÿค‘

Drove it for a day and the evening and I love it. Granted I am a life-time Honda/Acura guy that's owned a few Civics, Accords, 2 Legends, an Integra GSR, RSX Type-S, a Pilot, a TL, and 2 RDX (gen 1 and gen 2), and this, other than the RSX is by far the most enjoyable drive I've had. The HUD on the Advance Package is superb and while I agree that the touchpad needs some getting used to and hopefully for some can be updated to a true cursor-based experienced thru an OTA update this thing has nearly zero drawbacks and at this price-point puts a lot of vehicles in this class in their place - below it. The driving experience overall is a 9 of 10 - the only thing I'd want is more control using the paddles (the rev matched downshifts and more direct control of the gearing). I would agree - as he noted, the 2005 TL was the other big jump in quality and tech and this is just as big if not more. My brother has the MDX and is ready to get the next one and he is missing out since the new MDX won't be done past 2020. This is THE Crossover SUV for 2019/2020 - no questions. The 4 cylinder with the turbo feels more like a V-6 than you can imagine. I only wish I could have the civic Type-R as the daily driver instead of the RDX, but that's another topic :)

I am not really concerned about the infotainment system. I consider that part to be in addition. I really want to know about the vehicle. How is the engine and transmission? Are there any major concerns about this vehicle? It's such a lovely ride and just the perfect size โค

Awesome review! I have a personal question for you. If you had a choice to buy a new car, what it would be: 2019 Acura RDX Advance vs 2019 Audi Q5 Premium Plus? I like A-Spec package for better looks. Is it worth spending extra money going from A-Spec to Advance to get adaptive damper system for a better ride quality? Thank you!

I have no clue why you're so hung up on the cursor, non-cursor thing. Are you really that thrown off by not having a reference point on a screen? Jeebus, dude, adapt.

This is a really great review! Very thorough and to the point. As for the vehicle, I like it lot except for the shifter buttons. A real shifter would work much better, can't see why automakers are getting rid of them.
