Prepare for a deep dive and review on the Acura RDX. The new design was created from the ground up to compete in the Luxury CUV and SUV segment. There are other strong choices like the Audi Q5, BMW X3 and of course the Lexus RX, but we focus in on why the Acura is different. Everyone is always looking for the best SUV or a top 10 list so we avoid comparisons and just focus on the technical details.

Looking for a new or used vehicle, watch and learn!

Holy shit! You've gone off the charts with the music and the cinematography this time. Plus, the amount of detail, the engineering explanations and research, and all the hard work put into this video. It shows! We really appreciate what you do man. Your one man operation is better than the entirety of MotorTrend.

I've been an Acura owner since the first MDX came on the market. I LOVE the new RDX touch pad. I have no issues with that at all. I agree, the car is awesome. Best Acura yet.

That "infotainment" screen looks ugly and fiddly and awful. I got stuck with a lot of that in my Accord, and it will NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN. "This might make people run away from the car." You got that right. NEVER AGAIN.

Nice car, but so sad they went back to the crappy turbo 4 cylinder instead of a great reliable 6. Reliability having this car...........with the turbo 4 cylinder.....

The interior is trash. It looks so bad, like they bought it from Walmart and slapped it on. I can’t even keep watching the video.

For me the advanced package is the way to go, i even baught a keyless starter. Acura link sucks guys dont even bother its super slow and laggy and half the time doesnt work. So if your purchasing a vehicle try to have em throw a keyless starter in or have it heavily discounted. I use the car as a daily. It fits my needs, drive it for comfort and when i want to have fun sport +. Biggest flaw is the rims. Theyre okay... but after i save up some cash im probably going to change them up. Not a deal breaker but if it had black rims on this trim it would make a world of a difference. Infotainment isnt as bad as ppl say. I test drove a highlander 2019, rav 4 2019, crv, nx f sport, rx, rdx aspec, and the infiniti qx50. And for the money and comfort the rdx advanced package won me and my wife over. I loved the aspec look but my wife was right the seats are a bit stiff. Test drive and see for yourselves. I hope this helped.

Love the review, always love the brutal honesty of all your reviews. My search has narrowed down between this and the CX-5, obviously this is the more expensive but has all the things I want. To hear how great it drives from multiple reviews is great. I enjoyed my test drive, and can't wait to get one.

We bought the first edition RDX in 07 (loaded, every option). It had everything that future cars would have. People stared at the dash screen at night. You could ask it things and tell it to do things. It was FAST (Turbo). It handled good for a cross-over...great sound system...way ahead of it's time. Garaged it's whole life, looked new and only had 73k on it when my wife totaled it 2 weeks ago. (she's fine) She loved it. It was over priced... but everything was back then. It wasn't that quiet, hard to get in and out of, no rear leg room, small gas tank and lousy mileage.
Just bought a loaded Ford Edge....quiet, fast, easy to get in and out of, roomy front and back....does a lot of other things....you can imagine...it's 2020.
