To everyone saying this has a shower, what I meant is that it doesn't have a built-in one with warm water. You can get a shower hose option to hook up to the water supply. But you have to shower outside and the water is cold. Lovely...

Just buy a high spec transporter and get a conversion company to convert it to your spec. £60,000.... CRAZY....

Maybe OK for two people, but over-priced. Makes more sense to rent (hire) a proper camping van for the times you need it. Tents are fine, but in foul weather the enclosed space of a vehicle is more convenient and comfortable. One advantage is decent fuel economy and easier to drive and park than a larger camper.

Better off with large tent? Obviously Mat doesn't go camping otherwise he would know hard is sometimes to find place to put your tent but very easy to park van and sleep. Also try to build tent when it's raining. Even packing up tent in the morning can be extremely annoying especially compared to just doing few second conversion to "living room" in this van and then hitting the road again. Camping with van as this one is sooo much more comfortable then using tent.

Why do all car reviewers nowadays feel the need to be a comedian as well?..Grow up and just review the car please..You don`t have to do the overgrown public schoolboy act like Clarkson.

The whole point of these vw campers has gone, the old old ones back in the beach bum hippie days were highly affordable thats what made them so popular £60k is laughable imagine the holidays you can have for £60k and its a vw diesel so egr or dpf failure abroad good luck with that, i regret getting my diesel the emissions scandal update changed the car completely drove like shit after and the dpf and egr both failed leaving me in limp mode over 100+miles from home

Would rather have a real off road capable vehicle like a Jeep Wrangler and spend the money on kitting it out. VW's are cool for hipsters who go surfing in Cornwall, drink IPA's and eat vegan

65K is out my league, I'd much rather buy a van and convert it for 30x less, and have the satisfaction of doing it myself.

Loving all the haters slagging it off, but same people don’t think twice about paying silly money for Audi’s or BMW’s that they hand back 4 years later, these vans are expensive becuase the craftsmanship and hours that go into making it, also it’ll still be worth 30k plus in 10 years more than what can be said for years that will happily pay 40k plus for a Discovery sport, also this is more comfortable practical and a lifestyle nothing to do with status prowl who buy these have probably been and seen more interesting places than all the materialistic idiots in there rented Audi’s and BMW’s
