Had a 2015 ecodiesel same as this truck but a quad cab instead of crew but it handled well around corners with no issues and towed over 5k without any issues and I think my fuel mileage went down maybe 1mpg

My wife and her very heavy foot gets better MPG in my 2.7L than this guy. I get 25MPG combined average. I consistently get 27MPG or more. its a 2018 crew cab 4X4. And the 2018 now has 400 ft ponds of torque.

How are you gonna compare the 2.7 EcoBoost to a 5.7 liter? Wouldn't the 3.5 EcoBoost be more comparable? Probably not. The 3.5 EcoBoost crushes it in torque, HP, towing capacity, etc. Ford will even tell you that the F-150 with a 5.0 Coyote can't out pull or out perform 3.5 twin turbo. Dodge certainly isn't doing it.

All American trucks are reliable. Some say Ram is the most reliable, others say Ford, others say GM. Just deal with it, they’re all reliable. The Toyota Tundra May be a bit more reliable, but it isn’t as capable, and fuel economy is very poor.

Hey guys I'm a ford fanboy!! Since my truck is constantly getting outperformed by others I'm going to bring up the fact that dodge rams were unreliable in the 80s and 90s. I'm not going to even mention how the new ram 1500 is nothing like those older models and the company even dropped the dodge part because they were focus on a better future. But anyways I'm a ford fanboy like I said so I have to make comparisons of older dodge vehicles to make myself feel better about my inferior purchase of a ford f150 over the ram 1500.

Just traded in my 2011 Ram 1500 for a 2015 Ford F150 XLT..... Wont ever go back to Ram and this is coming from a guy that kept an immaculate maintenance schedule.

I own a 2015 Ram EcoDiesel 1500. I put 40 thousand miles on it and I've owned it for 3 years. It's received all of its scheduled maintenance. I received an engine code that says EGR insufficient air flow. Dealership says the EGR valve and diffuser tube and EGR cooler are clogged with carbon and will need to be cleaned or replaced. $3,000! I drive 25 to 45 minutes one way to work. This should not happen in a brand new diesel engine. It's supposed to have a factory powertrain warranty. I'm being told they won't cover it. I've been a Dodge customer for 25 years. I feel like I've been screwed

This video was really well done! I loved the cuts you did when hooking up the trailer, and of the interiors.

Just bought an 18 F 150 and could not be happier. They gave the 2.7L a power boost, and I believe the fuel economy is better too? Drives like a dream!
