Honestly who gives a fuck about the infotainment system? If your a man not some bitch boy. If you buy a truck, you buy it for functionality not all the bells and whistles.
I like it it doesn't have carpeting, I liked it it has cloth seats, and analog gauges rather than something digital piece of shit LCD screen, level obviously go as soon as warranty is up and cost a couple thousand dollars to replace.
If anything I'm hoping that they put out an even simpler version for men. Pretty much that with crank windows, a simple stereo a king cab with a nice big box, as opposed to a club cab, & a floor mounted shifter for 4 wheel drive.

surely I'm not the only one who buys a vehicle for function over fashion and Technology, that's obsolete as soon as it leaves the factory.

Nope! Looked at one at the dealer. Almost $40k for a RANGER that I looked at! Ford is out their tits on this one. (I'm a Ford guy too, currently own 2) I'll definitely be buying another Tacoma after watching these Ranger videos. Superior product compared to this thing.

First, there are NO values in the truck market. To suggest so is disingenuous. Second, the Ranger’s resale will suck compared to the Tacoma’s . Period. It may sell for less new but you & I both know a a 4cyl. Turbocharged 4 bangers resale will absolutely suck compared to Toyota’s V6 offerings. I’ll take a Tacoma if it costs me 6grand more. If I take care of it I’ll easily get that back & more compared to the shitty 4 banger Ranger.

The pricing on the new Ranger is outrageous, every dealership within 200 miles of me are selling all the trims for 29K to 40K!?? I can get a nice F-150 for $21,000. There’s no reason that a smaller truck should be priced that way?

They should use the chassis from their current Ford Fusion, raise its height and include the 2.3L I4 and the 2.7L V6 Ecoboost engines as well as either a 6 speed manual or the 10 speed automatic available in all trims. The bottom base model can have manual roll down windows, manual mirrors, 2 doors, standard bed, no radio, only AC, 2.3L Ecoboost and 6 speed manual.

This Truck is fast, handles well, and is durable. Just bought one. If you can not afford it buy the 2019s in January 2020 n get about 8-9k in Ford rebates.

"It's gonna get the job done..." for the low, low price of 35 grand lol. Truthfully, this is a small pickup selling for more than I bought my last F150 Lariat for in 2007. Ford can get stuffed.

Damn. $34K. I have a 2001 Ranger XLT 4x4 I bought brand new for $24K. I could spend 8 to 10 grand on that and have a truck to last me another 18 yrs without the crazy Insurance cost.

Why don't manufacturers understand? Give us a small truck with a V6 and a 6 speed manual. Awd or selectable 4wd would be nice. And keep it around $25k. I'm in that market. However, I haven't seen what I'm looking for. The Frontier or Ridgeline both come close but not really what I want. Of course, both of those are completely different styles and way different in prices.
