Richard Hammond takes to the road in a Toyota Land Cruiser to assess its performance, practicality, and design. This 4x4 sports a choice of 2 engines- a 4.6 litre v8 petrol that produces 230 bhp- or an impressive 4.2 litre v6 turbo diesel.

It has a 4.7 liter petrol engine, not a 4.6 liter. The 4.6 arrived later with the next gen Cruiser.

It would be so nice to see a review of a off-roader that didn't fall over itself and suck its own dick about how such vehicles aren't always used off-road.

It really shows the difference between U.S vehicles and vehicles in the rest of the world, especially Europe. Over there something like that is gigantic, whereas here in the U.S I see dozens of vehicles this size and even bigger every day it doesn't even phase me.
