Bitch, bitch, bitch. For about $60, what do ya expect? Either,....
Send it back, let the seller know or live with it.
Underpowered? If you RESEARCH an item PRIOR to ordering it, you'll have a descent idea of a reasonable expectation.
EVERYONE ( or most ), KN it's motor and battery are too small, tbe suspension is wonky, the shocks aren't really shocks, it's NOT waterproof and you WILL break pieces. BUT it's $65 !!!

Thank you for your frank and honest video. Yes. I too was disappointed with the initial performance of my B36 (front drive shaft fell off) and doors not closing. I started to realise very quickly these trucks need upgrades which then raises the price considerably for each truck. As a bit of a hobby person I am not overly concerned but for those people who are not very skilled at doing upgrades etc., or who do not have "deep pockets", I would think twice before purchasing.

@HobbyDaddy Hi. Sorry to hear you copped a really bad deal. All the problems you mention are relevant and spot on. Just received my JJRC Q63 and, though no proportional steering or spare tyre, it has good speed etc., which I believe may be very similar to your B-16.

Yepp i never got a WPL Box that wasnt battered and/or looking like it were run over. but $70 is very hard i got mine for around 50 and it runs well. Yeah it could be a lot lighter thats a Point. these motors have a waste variation in specs and it looks like you cought a bad one. I got mine at Gearbest and i couldnt be happier with the "Bigbutt" sorry to hear you got a blacksheep. These Trucks can be so fun ...if they come well of course

Banggood kits are the same, my c-14 came without frame, I am sure it fell out from the busted and crushed box just like yours. WPL packaging is inadequate! JJRC is much stronger box, came creased but intact otherwise. Ordered frame from ebay, still chasing customer service. Will not buy anymore of this crap. Back to 1/10 trucks! But will play with what I have till all broken.

Sorry to hear that man. Definitely You should speak to amazon customer service Regarding the missing parts and damaged parts and try to get a refund or replacement. Some of these Chinese sellers are very cunning and trying to sell incomplete kits.
My opinion regarding the motor is it definitely needs a 370 motor because of the weight of the truck. Also wheel weights as this truck is top heavy.

Totally opposite experience from mine. Sometimes you do get a motor that wasn't built correctly(more power in reverse than forward). I have experienced this and turning the axles and switching motor polarity is the only fix or new motor. Sorry you had a bad experience. Mine has adequate power in factory form. But you know me! 2 speed on it's way lol. P.S. I also had mine crushed in shipping.

@model nutty Hey I am doing one of those dual gearboxes also, Got a couple of those Fayee 001 gearboxes for $5.00 .Comes with 180 motor already. I can get them to fit side by side , bit over hang on the screw mount but that is ok.

yup, crawler motors ARE supposed to be neutral brush timing for same RPM and power running forward or reverse. if its not, "fun and games time". for these I've been using the little 20A (actual 12A) brushed ESC's no problem, have to have the polarity correct on them too because they only deliver about 1/2 power in reverse. with the micro switch in the "braking on" position, you can tell if its right or not pretty quick.

I'm LOVING this low budget "Siamese'd gearbox" I whipped up, gotta do another one with dual 180 motors to slap into the MK-D90! the two stock WPL 130 motors (black end cap) gives plenty of power for the C-24 using a 2S 18650 lithium ion pack. really great 4 dollar power upgrade but lol I just don't do videos. for the simple 2ch Tx/Rx, really nice single speed power solution for a 2 axle. it MIGHT even work out with a 130 motor for a front axle and a 180 for dual rear axles, if the motors are really close to running the same RPM's. when they're wired parallel DC motors DO want to try to run in step with each other.

Sorry to hear that. I have been having issue with upgrading the motor in my b24. The plastics on the gearbox are so brittle: a little pressure and they break... Given that this was one of the original models but still. I have to say my new c24 is quite good right out of the box. I think you just got unlucky. I hope you can McGiver that thing and find some no-cost mod options

I ordered my b16 and b36 at the same time. And to be honest the driveshafts suck and the differentials suck. the motors have too much power in mine. I built a 5 cell nimh with amazon 2200mah rechargeable AA batteries. The drive shafts twisted out of them both in the first ten feet and The diffs were butter smooth.
I then ordered metal driveshafts and they don't fit the trucks at all because they are too short. I dont know what to do with them they are too big to just sit around.

yup, too much Z in the drive shafts, U-joints pop apart really easily! I've commented "how to" shim the input shaft bushings of the axles many times, it really helps plastic bevel gear longevity. sheet metal plates both sides of a center section to lower the gearbox about 1/2" to have less angle/stress on the U-joints helps them a bunch too. these things DO have a lot of flaws as gotten.

Good advice. The trouble is the RTR trucks are being marketed as reasonably durable as off road vehicles and first time buyers are being caught out.

love the WPL body details, drive trains, nope, they're really wimpy! MN-D90 has lot tighter bevel gear mesh in the axles, but really should have bevel gears the size of the JJRC axles in them (and no diffs!). not a fan of the 2 speed gearbox with 370 motor, because it requires a 3ch tx, and they can get messed up too. I think WPL needs to make things stronger, a single speed gearbox geared lower for a 180 or 370 motor, larger drive shafts and bevel gears that don't fail if you sneeze etc. I don't mind a top speed of 2.5 mph for a crawler, I DO mind when things are so flimsy they FAIL and cause the little beasts to become little money pits!

No, it seems to be about the same for power.  It's just a bit of a surprise to have the controller in my hand and find out how hard this truck has to work to do off road or climbing.  I got it to go up my crawlbox slope, and beat the course actually, but it looked like doing the course was a huge strain on the motor and driveling to the point of just about breaking stuff.  I'm pretty sure a large part of the problem is the CG, it does have a massive weight on the back after all.
