      Did I miss anything on this rental? I really appreciate all the love I'm getting in the comments, but please don't hesitate to offer constructive criticism too. For example, someone recently suggested I add shots of the headlights at night, so I'm going to try to incorporate that into all my future videos. If you have a suggestion, please share it! Cheers!

      Research some of the most common consumer complaints on major websites such as Edmunds, Cars.com, and KBB and specifically address those issues. People want to know if the negative rumors are accurate.

      I think it's part of the technology package or something. Anyway, thanks for pointing this out. I should have clarified that it is an available option, if you want to pay extra for it. I'll try and include that if I get another chance to drive a 2019 Camry.

      I had a 2019 Camry SE rental for a 3 days. I dont like the black interior it is dull, hard plastic interior. It has a decent acceleration, but the transmission is weird, not smooth from time to time, and somewhat delay from stop. City and highway mileages are good. Wind noise is loud on highway, I can hear wind from the rear windows, road noise is ok. Overall, I'm not impress as many auto reviewers recommended the Camry, may be the top trim.

      Feel the same way. Drove an Accord yesterday and the way the reviewers rave about it I was extremely disappointed in the vehicle.

      I agree that driving a car for a 20 minute test drive isn't enough. Just a word of warning though, most rental places won't let you pick a specific car to rent. You can only pick a class of car. So you might consider renting from a place like Turo.com or seeing if you can rent directly from the dealer. My local Toyota dealer rents cars for about $40 a day. Which is nothing if you're seriously considering buying. And last point, this is a great car. Super comfortable. I don't think you'll regret buying it. Good luck!

      AceThe King313 Why, bro? I’m interested in this car, and was thinking about doing just that, renting it first, because I want to see what the seat comfort is like, and is the transmission lag as serious as I’ve seen in consumer reviews. I took one for a test drive, but you can’t tell anything from a 20 minute text drive. What did you think about this car? Thanks in advance.

      @100 Rental Cars
      Thanks. All this driver assistance stuff worries me. I don't like cars having minds of there own. Camrys had issues with unwanted acceleration a few years ago because of the electronic throttles. I like being the one that makes the decisions, if I make a mistake at least it's my fault. Maybe it's good but it's a lot of technology really fast. Makes me uneasy.

    • 100 Rental Cars
      100 Rental Cars In reply to chad Spidle

      No, you only feel it if you're making really gentle turns. It's only then that the assist technology gives you a little resistance. If you make an actual turn (moving the steering week 10 degrees or more) you don't get any feedback/resistance.

      I bought a 2019 Camry se about 3 days ago and what I dont like so far is there is no light near the pull down shade/mirror so if you're looking at yourself in the mirror you have to turn on your roof lights, the lights on the roof also have no switch so you cant set it so that they turn on when the doors are open. So whenever you open the doors at night the car just stays dark which I dont like, also I was hoping it would tell me north east south or west somewhere on the car but it does not, and no blind spot monitoring unless you pay tons extra which it shouldnt cost extra in a 2019 car cmon. I do love the faux leather seats with striped cloth in the center and the front grill though, the S shape in the dashboard, and the C A M R Y letters on the back. Also the fact that I know it will be a reliable car so I am still very happy with it

      Hi Demeia! Yeah, I made a mistake in this video when I said the car didn't come with AppleCar Play. I assumed it didn't have it because it wasn't included on the apps screen. But, as you've pointed out, you have to plug your phone in first before it pops up. Which I think is a bit strange, right? It's like a hidden/secret feature or something. Anyway, thanks for pointing this out. I try, but I don't always get all the details right on my reviews, so I appreciate you letting me know. I'll do better next time. Cheers!

      Nice car if a little plain jane. Toyota engineers should be executed for not including Android Auto and Apple Car Play. You can do a lot more than just check stocks like maps for instance. It's almost a deal breaker. Remote start would be nice for those cold winter days but I suppose I could go to Best Buy and have it installed. No blind spot monitoring? I thought Toyota was including this in all their vehicles.

      100 Rental Cars In reply to Martin Smith

      I don't know this for sure, but several people have told me Android Auto and Apple Car Play are loaded on the vehicle, but you have to plug your phone in before they appear on the center display. I didn't do that in my review, I just assumed since neither had an icon on the display, that they weren't available. Also, there's seems to be very little info on Toyota's website about this. Anyway, sorry for the error in my video.

      I have the SE Camry Hybrid. It is surprising how fast it feels, more so than the non-hybrid version. Still less powerful than the V6, sure, but it crushes both the V6 and I4 in fuel consumption.
