Nice package but it's still a lease only. I see Jeep left the power hatch button in a stupid spot still.

Kevin Smith I have been in one. My co worker had a 2016 limited (or whatever they call the top trim) which I rode in a lot to go to lunch and the minute I touched the leather I could tell it was terrible. The plasics aren't grained well and are very hollow. I also noticed a lot of flimsy gaps at certain areas especially around the glovebox and center console. Along with bad quality, the design is duller than the Toyotas of yesteryear.

Get in one. The interior can be really nice.

Jeep could be more daring and bolder. The design is softened and too "Asian" with this specific SUV. I miss those cars that look brutal and cool the same time like the Chrysler 300c (Dodge Magnum) and all those. The body lines could be boxier and the window line lower. The rear is the ugliest part of the new Cherokee, the front the most hadsome.

I actually love the old head lights a little better. It was more aggressive and had its on identity .

I disagree, I have the 2014 and you can barely see at night with the headlight design. I'm much happier to see the headlight design on the 2019, I'd love to see how they perform at night compared to the 2014

Kevin Smith Only time will tell brother, hopefully it won't give me headaches. Otherwise I will definitely switch it for a Toyota. I own 2 Toyotas, and I haven't had no problems with them at all. Of course I've been giving them their proper maintenance.

The Grand Cherokee is different. It's a RWD platform so it would use the ZF 8speed instead of the 9speed. The 8 speed in general is better reviewed, and the Grand Cherokee's drive train is older and simpler. So it should be more reliable. However, it still is Chrysler and there is always the chance you get a defect. Also I think newer vehicles will tend to be less reliable than vehicles from 2 decades ago due to the amount of tech put into them and the complexity of their drive trains.

Kevin Smith Hopefully man, cause I bought a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude 4x4, and I'm afraid to have problems with it just as everyone else. Such a nice and beautiful SUV to have and to start having problems with it, won't be any fun at all!!!!

They fixed a lot of the transmission issues in the subsequent year after it's initial release. The problem is that most reviewers don't revisit a vehicle.

Iā€™m actually not a fan of this car anymore. I know the previous model was very polarizing, but I liked it. Iā€™m most likely not going to but this particular Jeep model again. I currently have a 2015 model.

I have the 2014, and I'd love to upgrade to the 2019 if it's affordable. The headlights in the 2014 are almost downright dangerous at night, so I'm glad to see the remodel (and with LEDs instead of those 55W yellow halogens)

Wassha 09 Agree, I actually liked the previous front end, just wish they stylized the grille to fit with the headlights.

Jeep Cherokee finally got the front designed right. It looks much better than the previous model. Much too much rubber on the rear bumper.
