What kind of dummy is going to fork over so much money for something that is totally not needed - carbon brakes?
Or 600 HP, for that matter. Why?

It's one of the craziest reviews I ever heard. So an underpowered rival to the M5 is better and more enjoyable to drive? And the best and most intuitive infotainment system in probably all the car industry is less desirable than the craziness in the Lexus, which you can't even work your way around? Did Lexus pay you to do this review or what on Earth is going on?

@phi psk I did watch it all the way through and I'm not buying it. Anyway, why would anyone test rearwheel driven high-powered cars on icy roads? It makes absolutely no sense. In all other conditions the M5 will trash the Lexus on all other aspects than maybe long-term reliability, which he strangely did not mention. But he did praise one of the worst infotainment systems in the car industry over the one in the BMW, which has been the benchmark for the industry for years. It truly is completely nonsensical!

I by the way don't say any of this to trash Lexus. I like the cars. And I particularly like, that they are usable in real life and reliable, while the BMW is a bit to extreme. But that specifically was not the focus on the review. Harris claimed Lexus to be better at the game in which M5 just beats everyone else, which is sporty handling. Maybe you should watch the video again.

is Lexus underpowered? Or M5 is overpowered? Watch the video again and pay attention this time.

BMW all day every day! Lexus should focus more on the RC F's handling and purity of the motor than the GS F's. If you can't beat supercars and sports cars on the highway with your super sedan then there is nothing super about it, because no matter how good a sedan can handle it self, most likely it will get it's ass whooped by a sports coupe. It's better to have the extra power and not use it than wanting it and wish you've had it. Also the competition pack on the M5 is a waste.. save that money for tyres!

I prefer the exterior of the 2015 more especially the grill, the huge grill that has no real benefit is pretty dumb to me, however I do like they few interior changes on this Lexus as well as the headlights. Both Lexus and BMW are awesome to me for different reasons. I'd be happy with either one. I had the chance to drive the 2015 GS350 f sport RWD for a week and the car ran beautifully! For an everyday car you cant go wrong it has more than enough power great handling an awesome sound system and loads of other great features, like ass coolers lol you can get a GS350 with 30k miles for about 20k which is a great deal for a car that'll last you for years! I'd take the v6 version for reliability over the v8 though but would love to give the GSF a spin.

Over a $100k for a BMW? The Lexus is also over priced for only 467 HP, it should be about $65k, not $85K.

I've find interesting that they're always touting the speed of the BMW and how it handleds the Road going around curves at very high speeds. However, most people will just be driving back and forth to work in traffic, so I'm not so sure how all this wonderful speed is going to benefit most the average person, unless of course they don't mind endangering other people on the road and possibly losing their license. I'll take reliability over crazy fast speed any day, because those electrical issues and all the maintenance issues that come along with owning a German car just isn't worth it for your average Joe. I believe these BMW, Mercedes-Benz an Audi Etc are built mainly for rich people who can afford to change their cars every year, so they don't really care about the issues that come after. They simply just buy a new car with cash money. Loved the commentary on this video, and the accent was killer.

Say what you want but the Lexus look better than the BMW to me let’s be real where you gonna use 600hp at.. 600 hp on a tight track or autocross is useless I’ll take a balanced car over a really high output car you can push it to the limit harder without fearing your rear end stepping out all the time lol
