The 3rd row really kills this car. It's not functional and has less HP. I belirve they even said that it'll have lower fuel economy (?). I liked the smaller tiguan's and really hoped they would bring the European tiguan body into the smaller version with the same if not more horsepower.

They should've gave us the short wheelbase Tiguan for the simple fact they have the three row atlas. If they updated the Touareg it would be a nice in-between.

As a American, I will only buy the Atlas built in Texas!. Forget the Tiguan built in Mx.

My lease for the 2015 Passat ends towards the end of the year. Looking forward to test-driving the new Tiguan. VW Passat is a very comfortable car. Hopefully, the 2018 Tuguan would be just as much.

Give us the European version !!! The stretched body for the North America version is just not as appealing as the European version and looks too bulky like fat fuck.

That design is forgettable. Looks boring. Is it just me or the atlas looks a lot like the grand Cherokee?

That's too big. i thought the tiguan was suppose to be a compact suv.. they should have made the Touareg a 7 seater, not this..

I think I would prefer the Atlas over this one! Although I'm not sure how the Atlas stacks up against the New Traverse and Suburban. Also I think that 4 cylinder is a bit small for a 7 passenger vehicle.

New Tiguan is too big for me, but I am fine with the size of my GTI. I hope it sells here.

Before one can doubt Volkswagen, one must know that VW owns quite a bit of high caliber brands including but not limited to Bugatti, Ducati, Lamborghini, and Porsche. This model however does not look quite that different from its predecessor. The front end looks much like a Mitsubishi Outlander or some sort. The rear does have some Audi accents, which of course is also part of VW group. I do like the idea of a digital dash and consol which can swap the location of the gps and the speedometer for driver preference. I don't think any other manufacture offers this yet, but I may be wrong. Hopefully VW can rebuild its brand and trust with the public
