I wish I knew what road he was driving on, and where it was...I got fascinated by the scenery...
Another note: I'm in total agreement with him on the subject of price vs. target audience. Here in Colorado, Freedom Honda has a blue 2019 on their showroom floor. On the website, it just shows the sticker price---somewhere around $37-38k USD. But when you physically go to see it, the dealer markup sticker is just over $55k. THAT IS BATSHIT CRAZY for a Civic, I don't care if it IS a Type-R.

Btw...that car has sat there for a while. At that price point, unless they drop the dealer markup....it's going to continue sitting there.

Watched this video more times than I'd care to mention. I can't afford the new Civic Type R, so that's off the table. But I own a DC5 Integra Type R, which is arguably a better drivers car than the EP3, so I should be satisfied. Yet this film still makes me wish I had an EP3. It's just brilliant to listen to a true enthusiast wax lyrical about a truly great car. Chris Harris, you can do no wrong.

If someone is being nostalgic, it is usually a bit melo-dramatic, but if its about cars, jeez, the new stuff just sux' so hard.

The FN2 and FK2 both had torsion beam rear suspension. The FD2 (only sold in Japan) had independent rear suspension though! I thought it was quite strange they didn’t use the setup off the FD2 on the FN2, considering the FD2 and FN2 were in production at the same time although manufactured in different locations, I’m guessing they maybe did it to keep the cost down on the FN2.

One year and 18,000 kilometers are over with my Type R. And my expectations were exceeded. This car is addictive. Legendary on the gas, fabulous on the track and really easy to get into. Everything important to drive is very manageable. the ergonomics are perfect for me. Plus the look that I love. Thanks Honda

Imagine if Honda added Acura’s powerful SH-AWD system to the Civic Type R. It would now longer be as lightweight but could possibility be even faster around the Nurburgring
