MG Motor is coming to India with 3 new cars including 2 SUVs and an electric cars, with an investment of over 1 billion US dollars. We visited their parent Chinese company SAIC's test tracks, proving grounds and manufacturing plants in China, and also tested their cars. We drove the MG Motor HS, MG Motor eMG6 and Roewe Marvel X and Marvel eRX5 in China, and got a taste of how well are these new generation Chinese cars are made. In this video, we will give you a brief review of the MG HS, MG eMG6, Roewe Marvel X and Roewe eRX5 and let you know what to expect when MG Motor launches its cars in India. In addition to the power, performance, build quality and fuel efficiency of the cars, we also give you a rough idea about the price at which these cars are sold in China. Roewe is in fact making some of the most advanced electric cars in the world, which are loaded with cutting edge technology, and we'll give you a good understanding of the interior and the tech of these cars as well.

MG has announced it is to stop making cars at its Longbridge plant and will be moving production to China - ending manufacturing in the UK. The firm said vehicle assembly was no longer "required" and carswould arrive "fully built ready for distribution"......bycott china

These Chinese buggers r v good in brain washing, with their hopeless n non reliable techs n gadgets. The same goes with automobiles. These show machines r only good to admire. They won't be able to sustain for long in our Indian conditions. I can bet on that. And none Indians should rely or blindly believe in their marketing gimmicks too. They have just come here to make money. They don't care for us Indians. We r a well balanced nation economically n democratically and r speeding up towards growth n development. Always give ur support, love n care towards Indian manufacturers and Indian products. We have it all. We don't need these imports

They will surely slash down half of it's features and quality when they bring it down to India to keep the cost low ..as our stupid tax system is so high that every manufacturer (any field) are forced to degrade their quality . High taxes are one of the major reasons
Believe me I bought a creta Sx O last month the ex showroom price is 15.2 Lakh ...and I was shocked when I saw the price bracket on one of the documents where it was written the price of the car is 10.28 lakhs and the rest is just tax ... WTF 4.5 Lakh is just tax .

If we dont tax imported items high, then no one is going to "make in india".A car fully made & assembled outside India attracted very high import tax than assembled in India.Govt does this to create job in India.

I have a strange question and it may be weird.. but why have Indians started speaking English suddenly? Like the comments under this video are all English. Is it the new generation? Why is your native language being phased out in place for English?

If you compare Mahindra cars with these Chinese cars then it won't even stand a chance. They can't even offer 1/2 of the features. Indian Automobile companies are much behind than Global players.
TATA can make quality cars because they own JLR. So State of the art R&D is possible for them.

While protectionist China creates all kinds of trade barriers through domestic laws and regulations for Indian pharmaceuticals and IT companies (many of which are reputed and do business in the US and european markets) from accessing China's domestic market so that chinese monopoly in those sectors where China is yet to make deep inroads into global market stays intact leading to more revenues that in turn will fuel r&d investments for the chinese companies, India must open its automotive market for China in the holy name of free market and competition that China preaches whenever it suits its agenda of global domination. Sculduggery at its best!
Go on, provide more automatic routes until the day Indians are left with jobs like cultivation of cash crops for chinese agro industries and push cart vendors selling chowmein of chinese brands. There is no guarantee that local jobs provided by chinese companies through investments on peripherals like local assembly, testing and packaging etc will remain in India once local competition is gone and monopoly is established with big money in its forex reserves illgotten with unethical trade practises like stealing of intellectual property rights, technologies, business models and running labor camp like factories sans any labor protection laws for few decades starting mid 1970s all of which cut production cost and rigged the competition in favor of China. Either way Chinese companies will earn dividends for the CPC led chinese government that subsidises Pakistani arms build up against India and China's territorial and strategic ambitions and aggression against India. Just suicidal. Let us unite under the chinese flag and sing praises to China in Mandarin. That way it is better. Guiltfree consumerism in absolute void of knowledge of India's worldview is prevalent all over India while patriotic chinese consumers boycott japanese goods whenever the CPC commands them to through whispering campaigns.

Such hope is like hoping against hope that the CPC will harbinge democracy in PRC on its own some day. The Pretentious Chinese government striving for its trade policies to get fairer is a ludicrous big fat bluff the CPC with its well oiled propaganda machineries spreads and wants the international forums to fall for such selfserving, shrewd and soft tongued diplomatic hoax so global consumers keep buying without any apprehension about China's long term agenda till a tipping point when being aware and crashlanding on harsh reality do not make any difference after the establishment of absolute dominance. The lies of China are going to be blaringly louder and sharper day by day to keep buying some more time until it is too late to get out of its fold. Nothing should be expected of a foreign government that has been rendered moutgpiece of the CPC which has blood on its hands and remains complicit in transferring stolen and reverse engineered technologies to Chinese corporates through government funded technology transfer boards in absolute violation of intellectual property rights. The earlier some common sense and realisation dawns on us, the safer we are. I have gteat regards for the chinese people, their culture and the ancient yellow valley civilisation but not so much for the CPC led PRC government drunk on the agenda of retrieving the lost glory and pride of a now defunct chinese empire but in a vicious way.

Protectionism and disregard for intellectual property rights has been one of the darkest sides of China as an economy. The world is waking up to the disparity though and we hope that it gets fairer with time. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us. Keep writing
