Learn how to replace the ENTIRE front suspension of your car in this two episode series. First I will show you how to remove the wheel bearing, ball joints, control arms, tie rod, strut, and axle.

The ball joint and wheel bearing has to be pressed out of the knuckle and I have a bunch of tips and tricks to make that easy. The upper control arm ball joint and tie rod can get stuck in the knuckle so I show some tricks on how to easily remove that. The rest of the suspension parts are pretty simple to remove and replace.

Did you guys get notified by YouTube that the video was posted? Also when you watched the video, was there a screen that said "this video was flagged by the YouTube community and may be offensive" or something like that? Just wanted to check because I had issues last night which is why I had to postpone publishing the video. I hope it's all fixed and you guys learn a lot from the video! I’m offended by the fact that I only discovered your channel this year. Your YouTube channel is #1 for me. I can’t thank you enough. Totally inspired.

I went through some deep depression this year. Your videos renewed my zest for life. I’m eternally in your debt.

Sorry to get all deep! But you’re helping people in ways you might not even know.

Amazing video! All of the different parts in the wheel well and how they work together were somewhat of a mystery to me...until now! You do such a great job explaining as you are demonstrating. I really like that you work on vehicles that present real challenges someone may face, like the hub not pulling out initially, and how to overcome them. Great work! I really appreciate it 😁👍

Great job, i replaced a rear wheel bearing on bmw. I had one issue which no one has covered on youtube. When i removed the hub, the casing of the bearing which covers the balls was stuck on the hub, so when i took the old bearing out and put the new one in, the hub wasn't going in all the way. After 1 whole day, i realsied that i needed to take the bearing cover off the hub. In this case it was too difficult so i took the casing off the new bearing and used the casing for the previous bearing.

19:20 ...the hacksaw on the screw was a good idea. Before doing that, I would have hit the screws with some penetrant then a small wire brush in hopes to seat that bit more into the void.
I don’t know any other Canadians who hate slotted screws more than I do, haha.

      Keep up the great work.

Man how the hell did you remove that axle so easily. On that badly of a rusted vehicle? The hell am I doing wrong lol. Axle slide hammer kit, chain+sludge hammer, pry bars and kicking them. Nothing is allowing mine to just 'pop out'. I swear this car is possessed.
