Touch pad works fine. Took me a minute to master it. Don’t understand why so many reviewers are bitching about it.

Would appreciate a full review of the 2019 Cadillac XT4. I'm not a fan boy of Cadillac's in general since they are typically rebadged variations of GM products. However, I've read and watched numerous US-based reviews which are very positive since it's "apparently" a completely new platform however I'm leary of truly believing it. Also the pricing is appealing and in some aspects, price-wise isn't that far off from non luxury brands. Typically, US reviewers appear to be positively biased to US vehicles so would appreciate a review from north of the border.

The 2018 is a much better design and it's much more intuitive. Enough with this half baked Teckno Garbage! The straight six cylinder has a much better engine than a four-cylinder with a turbo. Acura screwed up big-time on this POS remake!!!

2.0L Turbo is NEVER sufficient for a SUV/CUV that size. Will not last long and will lose horsepower way too early in its life. The RDX with the 3.5L was super sweet.

The touchpad may not be the best option but I drive a lot and this is much better than a touchscreen which is just distracting while driving.
BTW great video and a truly great car.

Complain about the TLX dual screen infotainment and even now with the most updated type on the RDX..lol I'd go with the dual screens non touchpad. If you use Android Auto or Apple Carplay the dual screens and turn dial, or this setup with the RDX shouldn't matter much. Also you'd get used to this trackpad thing if you bought this car. Driving around in it for a few days or a week is probably not enough time.

I got used to the touch pad, its second nature now. The problem with touch screen it takes a lot of concentration to use while your driving, you have to take your attention off the road to make sure you actually touch. I use a laptop with a touch pad all the time, so the learning curve was not hard. I also like that I can move stuff I use most to the main screen for quick access. Just waiting for Android Auto now

You didn't mention the MPG for this SUV, and please add US $ pricing. Funny that Honda has had Android Auto for the past year or so, but their premium line, Acura doesn't, what's with that?

Touch pad and your comments on the distraction are a no-go for me. Already have a previous gen Santa Fe, was looking at this vs. the new Santa Fe. I think I will stick with the Hyundai and save $15 large. I didn’t see enough upside in this to make it worth the difference. I also hate how everyone is going to turbo 4cyl instead of V6. IMHO the V6 will always be smoother and quieter. Love your reviews. 👍

A man shouldn't spend this much time worrying about the interior of a car. Can we get to the specifications and performance of the car?

I understand why Acura uses a different infotainment because people complained that they were just nicer Honda’s rather than seeing Acura as their own company. I think the Acura infotainment would be fine just like it is but with a touch screen and the screen being put in arms reach

We just don’t need the 3rd row anymore. I find the 2019 RDX to be the perfect alternative to the larger SUVs like our past 2 Highlanders and others in the class. It is quiet, super comfortable in front and second rows. We have my 84 year old mother with us everywhere we go attesting to that fact:) We picked the Platinum Elite and just couldn’t commit to the higher priced comparably-featured Audi Q5 and BMW3. The storage space and full 3-person 2nd row seating makes this car exactly what we wanted as a family/Daddy-friendly vehicle. No way you’ll be disappointed.
