just found your channel, good review. you seem to know what you're talking about. coming from porsche gt3 which is too expensive for me to track, thinking of dipping a toe into corvette world looking at used z06 vs zr1.. trying to understand if there is a valuable difference to consider. is it one of those cars which is too fast to enjoy driving at road speeds? is it too fast for most tracks? i'm close to laguna seca and sonoma. thanks

Quite sincerely, the Grand Sport is my favourite of the bunch of C7s. At Sonoma, you'd eat everyone's lunch in a ZR1, but that's not the point, is it? The GS is a perfectly balanced package IMO. There's enough power to enjoy, but there's enough left to challenge your abilities. The ZR1 is a perfect buttercup on the road, assuming you're prudent with the throttle.

Well, well .... a car review that was actually perfect and wasn't done by some fat pussy that just got back from a toxic masculinity rally.
You mean the cup holders weren't too small or too far away? You're not upset about how much luggage you can get in the trunk? No complaints about cheap interior plastics? The seats didn't hurt your ass? It's not too loud? You're not scared of what your wife will say?
Those are literally all things that you'll hear other reviewers say about the ZR1 and other monster super cars.
I just want to smack those fairies and drag them out of the car by their ears.
If you're whining about cup holders, cheap plastics, and luggage space like a cranky bitch going through menopause while you're driving a car like this, you should be sentenced to work in a tampon factory for 20 years and never allowed to drive again.

Y'all give too much praise to the Hellcat who wants to always hear about the Hellcat all the time it's not all that man you can be beat by a charger & Mercedes-Benz you complain too much about the Corvette. And I'm tired of so call lovers acting like they are really driving Us cars cuz they're not putting it to the pedal to the metal come on man. Nobody want to see he'll cats every time they turn on the race car thing I mean come on show the other race cars thank-you! And you need to make the Corvette go faster than 212 miles an hour it can do least 230 that'll make it more interesting for people to buy before does EOS go out of style put some power behind I love Corvettes and I know they can do more than that and make it interesting for the buyers to buy the car peace out

@amill1563 A Corvette is a Corvette, regardless of colour, and a ZR1 gets plenty of attention. This colour is boring.

Watching this review was an awesome treat after meeting you in person today. I don't recall a more professional, informative, or higher quality review or YouTube production than the one I just enjoyed, this one. Seeing my local neighborhood on the "BigScreen" was pretty neat also. Keep up the good work. My wife asked "Where do we place the order and who do we send the check to."

You’re really good at this, very natural. Mu only criticism the voice over sound quality is iffy to my, kinda boomy and and weirdly compressed. Perhaps a better mic will resolve it

Incredible car. I just wish it had more of the supercharger whine. While it sounds amazing, I think the whine would just add “something”. Much like the Hellcat, that thing sounds impressive.

I wanna get a car that’s over 100k (maybe over 150k) that I wanna drive throughout my 20s, and I was thinking about getting this. But the thing is, I’m afraid when people see this, they won’t see a 100k car, they’ll just see a corvette.

I live just outside the city limits of Chicago. There's really nowhere I can open this up. can I just get myself a ZO6 and bolt on the wing?? Are you really telling me I can tell a difference saving so much money??

    • Brian Makse
Brian Makse In reply to Sean Kent

You do have great tracks nearby. Autobahn and the legendary Road America. Nobody can duplicate that wing without mega fabrication. It’s connected directly to the chassis like I talk about. Anything less and it’s just for show

    • Sean Kent
Sean Kent In reply to Sean Kent

Brian Makse I don't doubt the power difference be perfectly honest with you. Over 700 horsepower is extraordinary. If you don't live near a track where can this car get its stretch... and maybe you can answer this question for me? Can I bolt one of those wings on top of a ZO6? I mean can a professional do it, of course??

    • Brian Makse
Brian Makse In reply to Sean Kent

I’m not telling you anything, but if you don’t think you can feel the power and chassis differences, you’re probably right. You’re better off with a Grand Sport.
