      Cannot believe people pay that much for a half ton truck; I'll keep my 6.7 350. F-150 Platinum vs F-350 Lariat. Sure you have some more whistles and bells, also known as shit to break, but I use my truck as a truck. You probably drive on the paved roads daily with empty loads. Judging from your twerking segment, I don't think I'm wrong.

      I went with the Tundra double cab 5.7 Limited 8 years ago and never looked back. The Tundra is really more like a 3/4 ton truck. It's just more robust. I agree that it has fallen behind the times as far as interior quality and finish goes and ironically that makes my 2011 seem not so old. The 5.7 V8 with the dual TRD exhaust is the best 1k upgrade you can do to a Tundra. That just makes that engine rock! I wish I could take the body and interior of the F-150 and combine it with the rest of the Toyota. The Tundra is the one to get if your going to keep it for 10 years or more.

      You know it’s a joke review when the top reason to buy a $50,000 truck is sound then there is a problem. The 3.5L will kill that V-8 and so will the 2.7L. Ugh. I have a 2018 XLT and the fit and finish is very good and I get 20 mpg combined and 25 mpg on highway. That piece of shyt needs a trip to the shop to tighten it up.

      The new Ram absolutely crushes this truck in Exterior and interior....not even close. Ride quality as well. Ford loyalists gotta wake up and stop using an old argument of of bullshit quality excuses. Ford has more problems than all other manufacturers combined.

      I have the 2019 F 150 5.0 and like it so far, thought of the Tundra til I found the cost of changing a starter, overall maintenance is very costly
      and the technology is 2007. The look of the Tundra isn’t ugly but it isn’t great looking either. But it mpg is horrible I am getting 23 highway in my f150 not happening in the Tundra 5.7 13-16 most owners report 17 is reported estimates. But Trucks are subjective get what you want. you are the one paying for it.

      Just find it odd the only video reviews on Ford F150's are high end extended cab versions. Pitty no one tests a regular cab light weigh version. I do own and enjoy a 2017 RCSB 2.7.

      Watching this again because I am contemplating a "new to me" vehicle vehicle as my 13 year old wrx wagon had turned into a constant project. I'm a die-hard manual guy, but the taco is the same price as an f150 and the f is so much more truck that I think I'll have to suck it up and enjoy my three-pedals in a secondary vehicle, and what household can't utilize a truck. I hate that there is no option for me in the car world; the wrx is essentially an awd corolla, the sti is painfully dated, and both are sedan only. I won't touch fwd, or front biased awd; there is nothing on the market for a car guy with a family, and that really bothers me, maybe ford will bring out a 4-door mustang now that they are dropping all other cars, but I doubt it.

      *Having responsibilities sucks.*

      I have a 2018 f150 king ranch 4 door short bed , with the 5.0 l engine with 1,700 miles on it and the fuel mileage is 17.5 mpg now. I expect the gas mileage will improve in time . I don’t care for the 10 speed transmission at all, the shifting patterns are annoying at times .i like the six speed i have in my 2015 supper duty 350 ford truck .thanks again on your videos and reports

      I like the video, you do you, but its amusing to me when car reviewers shit on a truck's ride quality as if it's supposed to ride like something else. The trucks of today ride 10x better than 10 years ago, and the trucks from 10 years ago ride 10x better than 20 years ago.

      My truck can run in manual...2017 F150 XL 5.0 STX 4x4. It a push button on the column but works well in snow :)
