      Trade Secret? Hmmmm
I would guess ya filled the tires with BBs and glue. Thats what I did anyway. And......it works too.
      Easy to do too.
What is the max voltage you would say is ssfe to run through the 370 motor with 2 sp trans? NiCd or LiPo, doesn't really matter. Thought about making my own custom batt packs. Maybe Energizer brand rechargeables, ( pretty high quality ? ), and maybe Tamiya plugs. Or those el cheapo NiCd batts out of the WalMart solar garden stake lights. They've 1.2 volt, sub C size I think. Some are 1.2v 2/3 AA sive. Can make 6v or 7,2 or a hot 8,4 volt. ๐Ÿ˜ as long as they wont make the dreaded " majic smoke" ๐Ÿ˜. I hate when that happens.

I haven't tried anything over 2s lipo. I did try 3s for a couple sec and it was too fast for controlled crawling with the esc I was using. I have tried the bbs but that's not what I use. Keep your next guess a secret it might win you something in the near future ๐Ÿ˜‰

I wrap rims in 2 mm solder, but sand can work and sits even lower.

motor slipped out its sleeve, needs 2 holes right spots for 2 short M2 screws from inside the gearbox into the motor's threads. bump steer... attach to the passenger side is further away, couple ball end links and threaded rod, a longer screw into the top of its steering arm so the ball is about 1/4" higher than being on the stock plastic. for my C-14 I was lazy and just used the longer servo connecting rod from MN-D90 (straightened out some with heat) will reach. the MN-D90 got the ball link threaded rod.... shrink tube hides the threaded rod. going to passenger side is lot less bump steer, can be almost none.

@RunThatRC yea that 2 speed is pretty decent! My grandson's truck runs it and easily ran almost everywhere my 1/10 maxstone " digger" goes. Not brushless yet, but thats not until he has some more wheel time. And when the out drive starts spinning your better off to get the metal driveshafts anyway.

@darealslicvic the gear is spinning on the output shaft and needs to be glued or replaced. He's getting a 2 speed so it won't be an issue soon๐Ÿ˜‰. I had to do that on my Kyosho Suzuki nsr the plastic pinion loved to slip right off if I run it hard.

@RunThatRC if the pinions spinning, just solder it on. Easy fix!

ah ok, happens less often but can, the 1st counter gear can get lunched pretty easy too.

I think the gearbox output shaft gear stripped from the shaft? The motor is all the way in and pinion hasn't spun off. Not sure till I get in there.

Yoo, i just got my first wpl in today , the b-36, and was wondering if there is anything I can do to avoid my center drive shaft from popping out on bigger obstacles

yupyup!! I KNOW you'll jump at that one David, just pack and cake them so grease keeps the dust dirt sand and water out of them. I haven't had problems with plastic gears yet, because I'd shimmed the bushings to stabilize those short shafts... but yeah that's a nice deal on bearings

eBay... about 12 bucks gets you 25 ball bearings 3x6x2 size, enough to do 2 three axle trucks AND 2 two axle trucks. they have no dust shields so just cake them with grease. the short input shafts wobbling is a big enemy to the small bevel pinion gears and the drive shafts. posted link to them on a recent HobbyDaddy video this morning.

Unfortunately I had the same problem(even broke driveshaft twice). I actually just replaced it with metal axle and that solved that. But I really do recommend the center axle upgrade. If your lucky you can find it for 18 or so USD. And it comes with 2 metal driveshafts so it would be a worth it upgrade. My b36 handles and drives like a dream now.
