Mumbai public transport system remains under immense pressure during peak working hours, it is really crowded (don't get any ideas Pakistanis) and it becomes worse during moonsons. Mumbai is situated on the Western Ghats section of India which witnesses second highest rainfall in India after Mausinram(the place which receives highest rainfall in the world, also in India). The only way to improve this is developing alternate ways of commute for people. That's why having a metro rail system like Delhi is really important for Mumbai along with diff new ideas such as monorail and BRTS. I am sure this dream will be realised sooner

BBC doing a remotrly positive piece on India is suspicious.......they are always looking to find faults on India....they usually locate the closest slum and report from a couple of snake the way it is so hard to find snake charmers in India cant say they don't have talent they find things Indians themselves find hard to locate.

India would be truly a developed nation when everywhere can drink water from the tap and not fall sick, good roads even in remote villages, good less expensive medical treatments, less polluted water and air and no electricity disruption.
