THIS VIDEO, at that precise moment, from 2013 on this Canadian TL Elite w/SH-AWD, made me crave either a late model TL Tech or Advance TL SH-AWD or at the very least a TLX SH-AWD.

How do you think the performance of the SH AWD compares to the G37?

the Infiniti is a bit more aggressive and sends more power to the back making the car easier to oversteer while the shawd is a bit "safer" and favors the front wheels.

Not oversteer, the SH-AWD adjusts power to the wheels while driving.

+vtecnegro85 OVERSTEER is where the backend comes and makes you spin out(drifting). UNDERSTEER is a when car plows through a corner causing the car to continue going straight even though your wheel is turned. the words are fucking explanatory you retard

I had a 2008 Type S, I have been dying to get one of these since the '09 model came out. I feel Acura took an unnecessary step removing the split in the exhaust from a dual with quad tip to a dual exhaust. It really looks better with the quad tips even if it is not true quad exhaust. Great video MotorPress.ca.

The 3/5 series have some of the best resale values in their respective classes.. I'm confused why you want to defend this ugly, ill designed Acura: the modern sedan equivalent to a Pontiac Aztek.

How is it that reviewers always compare the Acura TL with the BMW 3 series when the latter is 10 inches shorter? On the other hand, the 5 series is the exact same size.

+Ryan Tai Thank you both for having a healthy conversation! Your question is valid, and here is your answer; The TL is 4928mm long, which is even longer than the 5 Series BMW (4905mm). The 3 Series is at (4636mm). BUT, the wheelbase of the TL is just 2775mm which is sorter than the 3 Series (2811mm) and a lot shorter than the 2969mm of the 5 Series. Also, the trunk of the TL is a lot smaller, thus despite its large exterior dimensions, it competes against smaller cars. Hope this makes sense.

    • Momchil Kyurkchiev
Momchil Kyurkchiev In reply to Momchil Kyurkchiev

That's arbitrary. Both the 3 series and the 5 series are more expensive. Yet, I'm sure people looking to buy an Acura TL wouldn't consider a 3 series because it's compact.

Bought a 2010 here in Atlanta in May. I've watched plenty of reviews and this one pretty much covered most of the bullet notes on the TL. The 2010 shawd doesn't come with the blind spot or cooled seats and I have a 5 speed as opposed to 6 but everything these guys have said are true to life. (And i get the quad exhaust!) The car almost makes you want to act irresponsible. Its a joy to drive.

I have 2012 AWD. There are no rattles and I totally agree with +nihonno "The car almost makes you want to act irresponsibly" It's way too much fun. on the other hand BMW 5 series. Everyone including the sales guys told me to stay away from bmw, they break so much. My dad has benz E class and we only had 2 issues so far.
