@Arun Shenoy that's the confusing point coz it's not as comfortable as dzire but get but more goodies like 15" whees rear defogger/wiper auto climate control and also projector headlamps with led

Between the two, I'd pick the Baleno. Lower variants are better equipped compared to the Dzire. Check the Baleno Delta.

The old alloy wheels are available on the 2.2 MT variant. And I agree about the 360° camera thing. Makes maneuvering a mammoth like this so much easier.

Ford Everest, now finally front passenger with electrically adjustable and push button start ..but no electric- parking, no ventilated seat, no wireless charging, no paddle shifter. anyway it's big mascular truck.

Arun Shenoy In reply to benji y

Why would you want an electric parking brake? It's meant to go properly off-road - a manual handbrake will give you better control in those cases. The other bits I agree - they're misses. Not dealbreakers in any manner, though.

The first thing i noticed is that, the new Endeavour , sply in the new color reminds me so much of the first/sec gen Endeavours india got. May be that was the idea, not sure. Also i honestly feel the white and red color work best of the styling of Endeavour. Good one Arun. :)

What a shame that we didn't get the 2.0l engine. Its twin turbo produces more power than 3.2 and is more fuel efficient. 8km/l is a joke that's why people chose fortuner and still will

    • Cyril Matthew
Cyril Matthew In reply to FATAL FORCE

3.2 is 5 cyl and anyday more balanced than a 4 popper. Agree the bi-turbo is more efficient but at the same time adding another turbo makes the system more complex and requires more maintenance , reliability factor is yet to be known. I have driven the Everest in Sydney with 10spd auto. The reason why the 4 popper works really well is mainly due to the gear box having more widespread ratios and multiple overdrives. Even if ford plans to bring the engine they will have to downgrade due to fuel quality

Arun Shenoy In reply to FATAL FORCE

Agreed. 210PS/500Nm sounds mouthwatering to me too. But I'm sure that would've jacked up prices enough to put it out of contention.

Arun Shenoy In reply to Pratyush Mahapatra

That's the new colour in the range, and I guess Ford wanted to showcase it. All 12 media cars were 'Diffused Silver' in colour.

Thanks for taking the time out to watch the video, and comment - Pratyush! Appreciate it! :)

why ford why the hell a manual transmission wasn'i provided with 3.2 L .... We Indians don't need some algorithms taking control of the engine.. we like to take it ourselves

    • Arun Shenoy
Arun Shenoy In reply to Cyril Matthew

@Cyril Matthew Yep. 3.2 AT is in fact the Endeavour's best-selling variant. :)

About the Civic - I missed a manual so much when I was driving it around Nandi Hills in Bangalore! No paddle shifters make up for the feel of a proper gear lever. It's a bit sad because that engine revs for days. Would've been MAD fun with a manual. For sure! :(

@Arun Shenoy Oh bro ...atleast you're with me and i can't believe the demand is for auto. Like you my family could have bought one already if manual was there. Also i am pretty dissapointed with what Honda done witrh CIVIC ...a CVT only petrol:(

    • Arun Shenoy
Arun Shenoy In reply to Cyril Matthew

Demand bro, demand. If there were enough buyers for the 3.2 manual, we would've had one by now. 99% of the buyers in this category want an automatic. Needs of the many, outweigh the wants of the few - I guess :)

So people have to pay 2-3 lakh more just for some extensions ..lol....ford is making fool of us ..they could have given raptor like facing atleast

    • Arun Shenoy
Arun Shenoy In reply to aakash bhaghel

Aakash, you need to take into account that the Trend variant isn't available anymore. It's only Titanium and Titanium+. Like I said in the video, Titanium is also fully loaded with stuff like 6 airbags, TPMS, active noise cancellation, gesture tail gate and a 10-speaker audio system. These features clearly don't come cheap :)

Sad to see Ford hasn't introduced 2.0L Bi-Turbo Diesel engine mated with new 10 Speed auto to India. That unit is super refined and also powers the Ford Ranger Raptor in Australian market.

    • Arun Shenoy
Arun Shenoy In reply to Vaibhav Patil

@Vaibhav Patil I can see why man. For all practical purposes, it's damn good. Marathoned the Endeavour to Mumbai from Jaisalmer yesterday. 1.2k kms, 16.5 hours of driving. This thing didn't blink an eye!

    • Vaibhav Patil
Vaibhav Patil In reply to Vaibhav Patil

@Arun Shenoy Yup. And even the top variants of Ford Everest and Ford Ranger are powered by the same unit. Aussies are known for towing boats and campers - and if the 210HP-500NM Twin Motor 2.L is enough for their needs, preety sure Indian Consumers woyld be just fine.
P.S. Ford Ranger is the 3rd Highest selling Car in Australia. Says a lot.

Is it? Would want to drive it before I make an opinion. But, I believe the Indian market thinks differently. Someone actually told me 'Itni badi gaadi ko 2.0-litre engine denge? Paagal hai kya?' 🤣
