brig back the legend tvr and it's sagaris ,with the same handmade procedure of body furnishing a building,a pure but modern 6 speed manual ,an in-house v10 engine ,a classic gear joystic ,a classic steering wheel , a classic hand brake lever ,classic british sleekness, but with a modern sporty exterior and an interior ,more safety and more reliability!

It has been my favorite car for 8 years, will most likely continue to be unless I buy the new supra (I probably wont, I'm still in debt for my outback, excellent slower car that can lowkey offroad)

That is one amazing machine. If only the British Government invested in such great car companies instead of seeing them sold off to Germany and China.

A non-turbo straight 6 with over 400hp. Has that even been beaten?

TVR's speed 6 is an absolute peach of an engine.. Developed as a race engine, and some tuned to 450hp plus without stressing them at all.. The only issues they used to have were some of TVR's parts suppliers (mostly the Indian ones) produced sub standard con rods etc so many of their speed 6 engined cars needed rebuilds after 25k or so, or at least a top end rebuild.. They're nearly all sorted now though.. The legendary Speed 12 is basically 2 speed 6 blocks joined together as a V12 (that's over simplifying) and put out a Conservative 900hp in standard tune, but capable of well over 1200 according to TVR themselves.. TVR's in house AJP8 flat plane crank engine is also one of the best V8's ever built, and again developed basically as a race engine.

The loss of TVR was a tragedy ... They were just getting their stride in terms of build quality.

The cars themselves were always head-turners.

£50k'ish back in 1995 , My 2006 Z4 3.0 si i bought 3 yrs ago was about £35k with the spec back in 2006 .. mine is now worth £4k tops .. Cheapest Sagaris is £47k up to £89k now on Pistonheads .. so do the math.. I love TVR :)

Err the 47K you quote there is for a replica Sag, built from a damaged T350C, not a genuine car.. You can't buy a Sag for under 70K now, and most are 80 plus..
