Although the new Porsche 911 is really quite marvellous, James takes a spin in a 911 modified by Singer Vehicle Design - a custom built tribute car that cherry picks the best bits from 50 years of 911 history. And it creates something really quite special.

I wonder why would someone buy a ferrari, lamborghini or a bugatti when something like this exists...

That Singer would be my 'money is no object' car. To have something that beautiful and iconic with modern components is mind-boggling.

5:06 May brings up a very good point that is wrong with the motoring world as of now. Nowadays people are trying to hit bhp/whp up to 2500. (Mostly in America) like what exactly is it the point of it. All you’re doing is removing the heart of the car that makes it have a soul and added a modified heart that basically built for high horsepower that won’t even turn a corner without hitting something. Like May said “it’s the sensation of performance” I guess that’s what the old 911 Porsche enthusiasts really want and it makes sense. But what do I know. I’m just a 16 year old that has a passion for vehicles

I hate electric steering wheels and also I hate singer. The singer range is made from some jokers with no proper research and development! I would NEVER trust some company in L.A to develop a car.

250k i believe is less than the eagle speedster costed anyway i though that was half a million (pounds!)? I dont like 911's I think they are boring but I can appreciate the workmanship thats gone into this and I actually think it looks good. Well done to Singer for making a non fan like a 911
