@Zachery Olson guess you need to be able to afford safety.

I think most 3rd row vehicles would fail rear crash tests. No regulations = no testing except for a few manufacturers. Look up XC-90 rear crash testing.

@ricky BE only reason I can think of is that most people carriers are sold in Europe but not in America and these are American crash tests

wmally I see. Do you know why they never test rear impact damage on people carriers?

It's for fuel tank leakage. They barrier is trying to intrude in the fuel tank but if protected correctly it wont leak, which could result in a fire or explosion

So you get black door handles and mirrors on base model?

Actually the black windows are some window tints you can afford online or let a person do it and the black door handles you have to ask the person you are working with to buy the car. Like my family’s oddysey it has silver handles. I’m guessing that came with the model because it was shown on the add. And also on Honda’s page where we first discovers the oddysey. Anyways I hope this helped you and also vote for Honda for the win because they have knee airbags. And airbags covering the whole car.

      *Features of the oddysey*

      1.Sliding doors.
      2.Mini TV
      3. Pull back seats.
      4.Movable seats.
      5. Wifi (But it’s not free u must pay monthly

My 2018 Odyssey was hit at 50 mph on the interstate while standing still just like this by a distracted driver. My two children sitting in the third row were fine. Honda owner for life now.

Blake Jackson Thanks for posting these pictures. We have four children and will have to use the third row all of the time and the rear crash has always made me nervous, especially since we would be moving from a Suburban to possibly an Odyssey. This is reassuring and I am glad your all were safe!
