I would of hated to run side by side against King Krunch back then, you never knew where that thing was going to end up, that thing was a disaster.

Now that helpful enthusiasts have uploaded a lot of these old videos, I can see that a lot of the highlights come from the same events. I love the vids, don't get me wrong, but the producers were definitely double-dipping on the footage.

That shit was so great when the Bigfoot crew needed an oil plug, so they went and salvaged one from a v8 ford that was in the crunch cars. This is the type of stuff Monster Jam (skateboard tricks with spring trucks) is missing.

Andrew Domonic / Most sports, especially those involving vehicles and technology evolve. The closest thing these days to old-school monster trucks are the independent shows.

An hour ago I went through my closet and found my VHS for this video and Crush This! Immediately went to youtube to find it. You are a god. I wore these tapes out as a kid. Stoked as hell to be able to watch them again. Thank you!

15:24 Army: the number one question they ask in this sport: how in the world do you hook 6 super charged triple A engines together to go through 2 rear wheels? Dave, can you explain that to us?
Dave: Ok, uh basically we... 16:53 and thats basically how its setup.
