I still own the 2006 Chrysler 300C SRT8 that I bought new. It has proven itself to be very reliable. Wonderful engine, brakes and seats. And it handles surprisingly well. The steering isn't so hot though. The interior pieces are put together well enough they're just cheap looking.

Why? Because Americans [NORTH Americans] are dull and boring. "I want gray and plain please."

Ok THANK YOU for investigating and sharing this. I have owned a 2008 Chrysler 300 HemiC, I then purchased a 2010 300 SRT8, I then purchased the 2013 300 SRT8. My pearl white and black 2013 was an exceptionally beautiful car. I used these cars in a private vehicle fo hire transportation service. Because of the lack of marketing or public awareness it drew attention almost everywhere it went in South Florida. I was constantly asked what it was, and those that recognized it as a 300 didn't know they came that way. Let me say the clients I drove were often upper middle class to the wealthy who typically owned BMW, Mercedes, Lexus. There where many conversations from those who sat in the back seat and wanted to know more about the car and were blown away at the performance and the sound system and even said I am going to look into buying on of these. I'm not making this up. I have had wedding photographers ask for the car be in the pictures if I was present at a service. The lack of sales for this car rest squarely on Chrysler and the FCA marketing team behind the SRT brand. YOU FAILED! It's your fault and you should be FIRED! Instead you focused on mini vans, and now you've lost a 3 time paying customer because of your decisions.

American cars have fallen off the map on purpose and that's my biggest problem. That and the fact that cant turn corners. Poor quality and only straight line performance kills all American cars. My 2014 awd Tl may be slower then these but that bitch will run forever and the first turn we come to its bye bye time. Spiro on ramps if you get my point .

I don’t understand why they’re eliminating this model altogether. I like the ride and comfort of the 300 but everybody wants an SUV. Seems like all the domestic manufacturers are cutting the big sedans from their lineup. The few others that have them are Toyota (Avalon). I would think the sales figures would be to keep at least one of these sedans on the sales floor.

So the one I seen at Walmart was a fake? It was a 2018 Chrysler 300 392 with wierd srt rims. I even took pictures cause I never seen it before and I'm around new cars everyday at work. So it was wierd to see that car

+Marspeed you might be right, u less it was imported because he parked his way like a mile away from everyone else. It had srt badge on the front grill and 392 badge on the side. It might of just been a srt model? It was crazy though. I waited outside but he never came out. I have a 300c 5.7 with mods

Yeah if it was a 2018 unless it could be a fake/they didn’t buy it here at the dealership (coulda had it imported or something but not sure of those laws?) 2014s and down from there will be around though they are legit

I think the problem with the chrysler 300 is the reputation it has outside of car people, almost everyone i know of views them as expensive, unreliable, and poorly built. So they really need to counter that stigma the car has.

I will always love the 300 SRT.. I have the 1st Gen (Black on Black) and get compliments all the time.. I wouldn't mind getting into a 2nd gen 300 which at first I wasnt fond of.. but will admit they have Grown on me.. I like the 300's because nothing else looks like them on the road..

I have an AMG Benz in my garage because Chrysler doesn't offer a Hemi + AWD (SRT or not) in the US anymore. When I was shopping for a new daily driver
I wanted a sport sedan that was quick and could be made quicker. As much as I wanted another 300 (I had an 07 Inferno Red 300C RWD) there was no way
I was buying a 300s because I would literally be installing a supercharger the day I brought it home.

Mercedes however, made exactly what I wanted in the AMG C43. A factory AWD sedan with a fairly high horsepower BiTurbo V6 (362hp for my 17) that with a
tune and downpipes is now sitting at 500 horse at the flywheel and knocking off mid 3's to 60 mph. Sorry FCA you missed out on a sale...

My other car is an SRT.... :)

As a current 300 owner, I would buy a 300 SRT. Will not buy a Charger or Challenger 392 / Hellcat.

The white 2012 with the blacked out Corsa extremes might be the old 300 srt I sold, complete with full FCA warranty transferable, till 2082. And I like a dumb ass

It’s really like you said that the sales for the hemi srt Chrysler were going down due to the fact that more older ppl are buying them and they want a much more quiet luxury car. I’m not seeing a lot of ppl my age that has a Chrysler 300 they getting the challengers and chargers but I honestly would like to see the hellcat/Demon version of the 300 that would be dope asf
