Take a look at our review of the 2019 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT Max Tow https://youtu.be/G5kLCdcTH7I - It competes directly against this Lariat on price.

I went with the 3.5 ecoboost for the smaller engine when I run errands around town. When the turbos kick in its supposed to be equivalent to about a 6.0 I can tow a 8,500 lbs trailer no problem. I get the best of both worlds. That was a selling point for me. So far I'm impressed with the ecoboost.

I still drive my 2000 F150 XLT 4x4. 163k miles and running strong. Just changed the oil and realized im.burning about 3/4 quart somewhere... I may be looking at a new V6 model that puts out more output than my 260hp, 350 ft/lbs torque offroad demon.

I just got rid of mine. Just sick of all the tranny issues and it's a time bomb with those twin turbos.

Actually the Silverado/Sierras outsell the F150, they just aren't counted together.

Wrong, the F-150 outsells the Silverado and Sierra combined.

When are you going to learn that unless you learn some very basic commands the infotainment systems are not going to understand you. If you had said "Find Point of Interest" it would have probably found what you are looking for. We all know at this point that the trucks do not have natural speech recognition and I am not sure they ever will. You always have the option with Sync 3 of holding the voice command button longer and it will use Siri or Google Assistant which does enable natural speech. So I don't really see why the auto manufacturers would spend money developing their own natural speech systems.

Other than that, great review, but it's time to grow up and move on from proving the trucks do not have natural speech recognition. We KNOW ALREADY!

Yeah, that's a lot....more than I want to shell out....Pickup trucks are the cheapest to manufacture. Once the Auto/start stop feature was mentioned, it was just that....a quick mention....I have not heard one person say they like it, and from what I gather, no one uses it

In my country , the f 150 cost around $95k and the raptor cost only $50k. I do like the f 150 more than raptor but the price is too ridiculous

I guess they are making trucks bigger inside because more and more people are now sleeping and living in their vehicles.

Lease it? Coming from the guy that says “give it the beans!”
No no no. Buy it all day long!! Competition has not surpassed it. Every video tfl does with towing and racing, the ecoboost f150 wins all that. The only way any competitor has surpassed is arguably the Ram’s new interior. Ford does need to update inside a bit. Other than that, all hail to the best selling truck in America.

Pinion bearing and drive shafts and carrier bearing failed on my F150.. no heavy tows either.. 117000 miles.. Ford installed a throw away drive shafts system. Should of stayed with Toyota.. 200,000 miles on a Tacoma worries free and sold it for a 1/3 of the purchase price..

Ever since you guys Bought the REBEL you take the other trucks and dismiss whats really great. RAM Or GM do not have the same options as an equivalent. I've been in the other trucks in the last 2 weeks. Very Equal when it comes to interior room...NOT BEHIND! Just think, Twin Turbo, All Aluminum and 10 Speed is exotic by comparison!!! You find that in a SUPER CAR like Ferrari, Veyron and so on!

NOW : Twin Turbo best in any class Power, Lightest All Aluminum Body, Super Steel Frame, Most Engine choices, Best in any class Gas mileage/Power combo 2.7EB...I can go on and on. You call yourself TFL Trucks and can't even admit the competition is just catching up and still is not there.
Then you say lease it...you just threw FORD under the Bus just because you bought a RAM "Lipstick on a Pig" and already the issues are coming up...Disastrous Gas Mileage, Gaudy huge Display screen that looks odd in the cab, Hemi that cant even catch a 5.0 or 2.7EcoBoost. That JOKE Called E Torque... Sorry but your wrong guys...this is a buy!!!
Oh I forgot...like you said the Rebel and other specials are in a class of their own and you just compared them to this!!! I used to respect you guys but...nope not so much any more!!!

SilverRaven1959 so because they don’t share your excitement about Ford you don’t like them anymore? I’m a Chevy guy and I can see that the competitors are leaping over them - but I don’t cry when I hear the criticism because I know they’re right - but I’m still a Chevy guy. Ram did a good job and they are reaping the rewards - in the long run everyone benefits because the manufacturers step up their game. You should go find a Ford channel where negative comments about Ford are deleted

Ford is not the "best selling" brand of trucks. That's misleading and a lie. GM (GMC & Chevrolet) is the actual best selling brand. But obviously Ford & you do not care about misleading people.
