It’s a shame we don’t get the 79 series land cruiser in the UK as the land Rover defender is not available anymore

So what are the crash test results for this? That should have been mentioned here because I believe that Toyota has avoided getting it tested, wonder why? The ignorant anti Wrangler boys call it a death trap so what does that make this Toyota?

gone from the mall rat community but for armies, NGO's, ag farmers and plain rough and tumble folks it will be around forever. if they ever allow its sales in the US, Toyota would never be able to keep up with demand and maybe have to build a factory in the US.

ding 174 because gm with us politicians make much profit on unreliable vehicles to be sold in U.S. so that they make too much profit. best vehicles available in Aussie or middle East

I have a 70 series in the USA right now, but it's 1991 model (US 25 year import law) I imported it from Panama 2 years ago. It's a tank with a straight 6 diesel, manual stick, front and rear lockers and a winch from the factory. The interior is spartan just like the video clip. It's simplistic and virtually bulletproof. Probably too reliable for the US market and not mommy approved. I plan to be buried in this truck.

Stick shift, diesel engine, simplistic all around & a straight axle front end! My god what I wouldn't do to get this in the states.
