The Infotainment system lacks Android Auto. Major quirk and missing feature. Stop, end of conversation for many owners. This is a major omission. Also completely lacking in a review of this class is off-road AWD capability. That is where the fun is. Other reviews point out that the new Rav 4 does very well in this category. Last, the Rav4 is the only compact SUV with a hybrid option. This gives it a very impressive top fuel economy for its class.

I am a new subscriber. How's it going? I usually watch tfl. But I decided to give your channel a shot. You sure are popular. You have a lot of subscription. I don't do well on autotrader. I prefer cars.com and Edmunds. Could you put something in the cargo area to show how big it really is? Have you done the murano? How about the passport or even the ford Edge is in the field as well?

Maybe in the states this SUV is very popular but certainly not in Europe.
It's way to hideous looking compared with the other premium competitors ...

Only thing that makes the value prop of the Rav4 any better than it already is might be buying one three years old with under 20K miles on it. I just did this and am really happy about the purchase. Plan on it being driven for...oh, I guess the next couple decades. :)

This was the first 2019 Toyota RAV4 video that I have stumbled upon. This and many other reviews helped me decide on my purchase on one for myself, roughly two weeks ago I’ve finally found one to my liking. Funny enough in my Limited theres literally only ONE map pocket, a bit interesting yet an odd decision and/ or design, but you get what you pay for; tech and reliability.

Previous Suzuki Swift (up to around 2014) also has a light in the (very small) cargo area that you can turn off. Although I don't know if that car sells in the states.

I work at a Toyota dealer and these new generation rav 4's are complete junk. Soo many come back hundreds of miles after buying them and complain of electrical problems, noises in the interior, etc.

So, Toyota successfully managed to copy autohold feature from VW Passat 2005. Though, you still have to turn it on manually after each startup. Well done, Toyota, well done...
The horrible infotainment is another chapter.

Adaptive Cruise and Blind spot monitoring, plus all the safety sense stuff isn't that expensive when mass produced and made standard. Its just poor Marketing Strategy by BMW among along with other car makers to withhold this stuff. Plus this approach gives a much better marketing and sales impact plus your loyal customers live another day to buy another of your cars. Very smart of Toyota! We just wait for Congress to mandate these safety things to be made standard, example rear view cameras, and you know Congress is rarely the answer but the prob...

That auto-hold feature is a lot more common than Doug seems to realize. I first saw it when they redid the kia optima in 2016, it's been on the kias, hyundais, hondas and toyotas since shortly after that. probably others too.
