I compared this to the Mitsu Outlander. I bought the Mitsu because you get a good deal more for the money and a far better 4 wheel drive system.

Less standard equipment (pay for them as packages), lower reliability, lower IIHS and NHTSA than the competition. But more cargo and cooler looking. Other competitors are a better value proposition but if you can afford and like a cool looking SUV here's the Traverse.

Doesnt compare to the Ford Explorer Sport and Platinum which will leave the traverse in the dust. No comparison with how the Explorer handles and its engine. I drove the Traverse.
The V-6 doesn't compare to the competition. way under powered

I just bought the lower end model. Nice vehicle rides nice and everything. I like it except not too sure about the transmission. Acts a little weird. I read up on it. The transmissions are known to had problems in 2018 models. The way it has been shifting lately I am expecting it to go . Only has 6000 miles so far.
