www.autobytel.com/toyota/avalon/2014/prices/?id=32972 The 2014 Toyota Avalon is a big, roomy, fuel efficient car with some nice luxury amenities. The Avalon has been on sale in the U.S. for almost 20 years and it has never been a very stylish car. Well that all changed with the most recent update last year. Now the Avalon has a very sleek and aerodynamic look that will set the tone for other Toyota vehicles as evident with the new Corolla.

The 2014 Toyota Avalon is a full-sized family car that is priced between $31,340 - $39,650 with the model tested here coming in at $33,195. The Avalon is a very light-weight vehicle in the class of portly large sedans. That helps with not only fuel economy but also with performance. The 3.5 liter V-6 engine makes 268 horsepower and 248 lb-ft. or torque. Fuel economy is 21 MPG in the city and 31 MPG on the highway.

Being a full-sized car, the Avalon has a ton of interior space especially for the rear passengers. The driver's seat is wrapped in leather with 8-way adjustable controls. Comfort is certainly not a problem in the Avalon. The Intelligent Touch Center Console controls the stereo and climate controls. The only downside is the small touchscreen. Ergonomically the control and features are easy to find.

Good review, the guy is very knowledgeable, He knows what kind of buyer generally buys Avalons. They care about luxury rides, not sporty ones. Seriously the 2000-2004 Avalons might have been the best cars ever made.

I'm laughing at all the morons here comparing this car to Lexus and other luxury brands. The Avalon is a great buy for what you get, far better than a Camry V6. Good review.

have had mine 2 weeks now...nice power, looks good, a little noisey, but not a big deal...BUT the seats flipping suck!! feels like sitting on a piece of plywood wrapped with leather! Also,...the window motors sound really weak and whimpy to me. The motor really has to work to get the glass up. And not a fan of the electronic steering

My 2014 Avalon doesn't creek and there's no way a cheap Camry is better than a Avalon.Avalon is a executive car for a more sophisticated driver where camrys are for little punks who think they are cool like Honda owners.

No wonder the New York cabbies are buying them. Comfortable and reliable. It's not fair to review a $30K car
and expect $50k material found on Lexus, Audi, and Mercedes. Toyota is much smarter to not cannibalize Lexus.

ok..no hard feeling's lol..  i just say my opinion..  most of Japanese car's had more cheapie plastic inside..  maybe they changed,i don't know..  my brother drives Opel  and it is high quality made car..  i know that Toyota is also, but that plastic inside  don't look  so much good..
