Personally, Honda has been losing it's timeless charm they've been previously known for. Following automotive trends has never been in Honda's play book but in recent years they've been throwing LEDs, touch screens and swoopy styling at everything they've got just trying to "compete". What are your thoughts? Do you miss older Honda values or like their current endeavors?

The infotainment system in the latest generation accord model is much more ergonomic and fluid . The interior of the 2018 Accord is much more practical and elegant . Furthermore , the exterior shape of the 2018 Accord is reminiscent of a sport-back. The 2017 Accord sport is a simple-shaped sedan who’s design is exceptionally compelling mainly because of the 19 inch rims , but the shape of the car per se is a simple sedan . The 2018 looks sleeker and more sporty !

I’m trying to decide weather to get this or the Civic EXL. I love the electronics on the Civic EXL but I love the looks on the accord.
      Any thoughts ?

I have 2016 sport(canadian version) with honda sensing. 11 months and 15,000kms drivin. Purchased for $29,500cdn plus tax. I think the accord is exceptional value. Could the interior materials be more refined...sure. Could the cabin be quieter...sure. Could the acceleration be sportier...sure. Compared to other Similarly equipped cars the accord is a stand out. The car is a pleasure to drive and I think it looks great. My only complaint is wind noise at highway speeds and the drivers seat can get a little uncomfortable on long drives. Absolutely no regrets buying this car. When I see a mazda 6 or a camry or a fusion or a altima or even a malibu it makes me appreciate my accord.

T-for-Tiger I paid 22,995 out the door price. Tax is almost 2k. I paid the the tax for it afterwards I didn't add it to the finance. After I bought this one, the dealership in St Louis called and offered me 21K FLAT. But I was too lazy to take it back and stuff so I just kepted it.

Wtfmanlol, Hi, was the price out the door? (after sales taxes and the dealership blood sucker fees and DMV fees!?) If it is not, out the door price would be easily over $24k, right? Tax could be $2k depends on what state, DMV and document fees from dealerships could be $500.

Pretty much a base model with flashy 19" wheels. This is one cheap looking car. It just comes to show you that all you have to do is put big wheels and a sport badge on a Honda and people will overlook all its short comings. Pure garbage..

We test drove the Civic, liked it but too small, tried the Acura ILX and then the Accord Sport. It was a no brainer. Wife loved the comfort, big back seat, carplay, stereo and all the chrome. For me, the 19" wheels sold it as well as the handling, and good gas mileage (spend alot of time in traffic for work commute). I mean, I thought I was in an Acura. We have looked at alot of cars, her previous car was an Audi A4 and only cost us $$$, this by far is the best value for what you get. I have read other reviews and so many are nitpicking at ridiculous things (I think its competitors posting negative reviews), we are a family that have always spent way to much for our vehicles and have finally set aside our elitist attitudes about cars and bought what we felt was the best bang for your buck.

I agree with your statement despite the U.S. market deletion of a sunroof, push button start, remote start, and 2nd screen. If anything, I think those 19" wheels are TOO much...

OK, watched the video again....we have slightly different features in the 2017 Accord Sport in Canada. Standard, on the Sport, we also got the Sunroof, push start ignition, remote ignition starter and the 2nd screen. We bought it end of Sept 2017, so I don't know if there was a refresh half way through 2016 or if this is simply a Canadian model.

you can get a civic EX-L with sensing or this accord sport with sensing for about the same price...feature wise the civic gives you a lot more bells and whistles but the sport is an accord (bigger interior space, more horsepower). Still can't decide.

26k isn't too bad, but you can get the 2017 fully loaded xle and xse camry for 26k (4cyl only) now. which I believe the sport is only 4cly too.

+Mitul Jariwala The camry has nicer features for the price, and it rides more softer than the Accord imo. The dual exaust is personal opinion too, the Accord looks nice with it, but I think the v6 camry with the dual exaust looks horrible. Xle and Xse is premium for the camry. The EXL and Touring Accord's are even better than the camry xle/xse yes... But it's extremely pricey, so for a cheaper price you can get a fully loaded camry for the price of the lower class Accord.
