This Truck is way overpriced!! I can’t believe this guy paid $42,000. I have the 2018 Ford F-150 XLT which is very well built and much more reasonably priced. Has the 5.0 V8 395 horsepower engine. It cost $26000. I paid cash and offered 24,500 cash and got it!

Unfortunately they do not make a 3/4 ton tundra. Sorry Rodney, I wish they did too.

Agree with you 100%. You forget one thing, when you start you're Tundra you have 8 cylinders firing unlike Chevrolet and Ford they cut out the cylinders and even shut off when you come to a stop. Price I think its were you are located. The Toyota dealer here has then MSRP at 42,500 I got lucky and found my 2018 with 4200 miles for 36,000. Love my Tundra, Thanks for the video'.

      Wrong. For 2017 f150 is 85% domestic content. Tundra was 73.5. Ram 1500 72% and Silverado/Sierra 55%. Yep. 55%

Prosper Personelle yup I’ve got my 2004 F-150 just about to hit 300,000 and it still runs like a champ! Fires up with no hesitation it’s my V8 bull, I’ve also got my 2015 3.5L and have had no problems with it. But when it comes to having to tow some good weight I’m bringing out bull! I had a buddy that drove a 2012 tundra and finally gave it up due to him always having problems with it. But he went with a chevy smh i couldn’t get him on a F150.

Awesome truck and both trucks are amazing but ultimately you have to be comfortable with your own decision you should do a review of your video after a few years to see how well its kept up to your expectations. Great points on your decision too.

I'm looking for my next truck now and I definitely agree with Fords packages and too many widgets being a downside. I found the stx line and it's pretty basic with rubber floors, upgraded stereo and tow features and 20" rims and sport grill for mid 30's.

Ha, you chose it because you are Asian. kidding, I will have to mortgage my house to get what i want on the Tundra. Ford is so gay looking. Ford is about $65K for junk. stupid engineering. I had a Toy that went 200k but it was gas and a small truck. totally reliable.

Just picked up a brand new 2019 Tundra TRD Sport double cab 5.7 4x4 magnetic grey metallic. I am a former owner of 2 GM 1500 trucks and they both were practically junk at 140k miles not to mention 5 k in repairs to get them to 140k. I pick up my new Tundra next Monday and am very happy to be back in the Toyota club! My money is on Toyota from here out.

If you overpay for vehicle does it it really matter if it holds its value better ? Similarly equipped f150s can be had for 6-7k less .

If your planning to go 200k and trade in and want all the trendy stuff go f150 5.0. If you want the strongest half ton truck you can buy to go 300k and beyond get the tundra.

Ford F-150 also produces a 5.0 V8 motor in addition to the ECOBoost engine ... Overall, it was a okay and decent general overview.
