I Have a 2019 KL with AD2. Off road suspension as Trailhawks but the approach and departure angles are much less. Thinking about a 2inch lift and AT bigger tires would greatly help. Just love watching these videos though. Nice job!!

It was stock. There are some options out there though if you want to lift one.

Ive got to say that certainly opened my eyes. All the tests Ive seen on theses Trail Hawks so far, have been saying they are only a soft roaders. Wtf. Certainly more than that. The only issue I see with this vehicle is ground clearance and tyres. The JK, well it goes without saying as it has nothing to prove. Unbelievable! What a great video guys, Good work. :-)

Thanks for the great feed back. The Trail Hawk is a great rig. Clearance is its downfall, but it performs great. Needs some metal sliders and bumpers though. I got my corners all dented in. Some solid steel bumpers would be great. I haven't looked in to the aftermarket world on these in a while, might already be out.

Is the Willy’s an all-wheel drive like the TrailHawk?

They both have a transfer case to select 2H, 4H and 4L. The TH has a terrain selector (rock, mud, snow, sand, sport), plus front and rear lockers.

Yeah, the TH is a great Jeep. Cleghorn is a great trail. I see people struggle all the time, mostly pick ups. The lockers make a huge difference.

Off-roading can be very fun! Four-wheel drive moving you forward when others get stuck that do not have it. I like off roading my Jeep Liberty sometime.

If you can do all that stock, Imagine what you could do with a lift kit and 30 inch tires.

KEVIN ALTRINGER i mean if you are really good at body work, you can have the deeper fenders. It really boils down to what you are willing to do

Yeah, I almost got the Dobsinsons lift. There are some mods you can do. Nothing that has the deeper fenders like the Dakar has.

KEVIN ALTRINGER Ive seen it. That video came out a while ago and at the time there were no lift kits for the KL.

But lift kits do exist for the KL now and Ive seen videos of guys who got 33s on them.

I LOVE my stock TH. (With RRO Super Sliders) This is one of the better capability vids i've seen, great job! I love going out with the wrangler is absolutely blowing their minds...i just wish i had some trails like that near me. All the easily accessible trails around me are half deep rutted mud which our low hanging control arms can't handle so well.

Such an incredibly capable midsize 2-row crossover... It's a shame that the smallest USA-built Jeep crossover fails the IIHS small overlap crash test due to weak structure...

Thanks for posting this video. I love to see the KL's at work. It's fascinating to watch the off road system "think" it's way across the terrain. Knowing it does not have lots of articulation, its well balanced and with just a few wheels touching, knows how to move forward. All part of the design. Combined with a good driver, lots of fun to be had. I first learned in my Jeep Patriot. Same idea but far less sophisticated off road system.

Yeah I really like what they did with these Trail Hawks. They do great off-road. I just wish Mopar came through with the Dakar concept parts though. Being able to add the lift and change out the fenders to fit 33" tires would be awesome. Clearance and the plastic bumper are the down fall. If you haven't seen the Dakar, here is a link to it. Awesome Cherokee. Please come through Mopar, hahah. Thanks for the feed back on the video. I like to know what people think.

KEVIN ALTRINGER yea very underrated. them locker really compensate for the lack of travel, but damn. 👍🏻I did that trail before and doing those chutes in a stock vehicle is pretty damn impressive.
