Here is a video of 0-106mph or a "Closed Course" in my 2019 GMC Sierra Denali 1500... the best mode with most power by far is the 3rd mode called "Off road" it DOESNT put the truck into 4x4 automatically, it will break the tires loose from a stop in this mode. watch the video and you let me know what you think is faster... i have owned both the 2018 Ford Raptor with the 3.5L eco boost and now the 2019 Denali with the 6.2L V8. both have the same exact 10 speed transmission that GM and Ford developed together! Wish ford would of helped GM Develop the interior of this truck and then it would be very close to a perfect luxuary work truck!

Subscribe for more videos, im gonna start posting almost daily if i can, gonna do vlog style videos, so if i have a car you want to see a video on let me know and ill do it.. my full inventory can be seen at: www.sellmycorvette.net or www.allcorvettes.net

Honestly thought it would be faster with the 6.2 coupled with the 10 speed. That’s about on par with my 17 ram, 8 speed with 3.92’s. The vids I’ve seen with the RST Tahoe’s pull hard! Hate to say it but the 10 speed F150’s are rockets in factory form.

I’ve done 13.8 in a Bone stock 6.2 Silverado . Have the video on my wall.

DA was about 900 ft . Temps about 60 f. So yes they were good conditions ...but with respect when you measure a benchmark for a trucks 1/4 mile time, you’re supposed to use sea level as your measuring stick....thats the standard...what does it do at sea level.

Motortrend did a 13.9 this year with a 6.2 Silverado and did Car and Driver ....they are that quick.

Eric Ferguson Same, they could do way better with the sound.
The normal 3.5 is a little faster and tows better, and they tune very easy.
Then again you can just buy a Rousche or Whipple super Charger kit for the 5.0.
Though Ram has as the best handling and ride. The 2019 apparently tows no problem, trailers don’t even shake the cabin because of the rear coil springs.
Supposedly their coming out with a Hellcat powered street truck too and then a Raptor fighter with a 7.0L
      V8.

Eric Ferguson In reply to Eric Ferguson

Necrotic Reaper As powerful as the 3.5’s are I hate the sound. That alone would stop me from buying one, plus the 5.0’s are pretty much on par. From what I’ve seen the 5.0’s really come alive with a tune. Guys are running low 13’s in a crew cab with just a tune. It’s getting crazy.

    • Luke Brosious
Luke Brosious In reply to Michael Horner

GMC has always been up market - the 2019 models share like 10% of the same parts compared to a chevy now. Also, when you're looking for a bottom barrel truck - go buy a chevy or a ram. Good trucks for cheap, but cheap for a reason. You get much nicer interiors, quiet tuning, advanced suspension - basically 80-90% of the luxury in a $70-$90k mercedes or lexus, BUT you also get an entire truck on top of it. IF you're looking for a super luxury vehicle first, with truck capavilities a very close second, there is no competition. Go buy an X5 for similar money and have half the features and capability

GM trucks really don't like to be torque braked, this has been something since 2007 when they started to put a lot of torque management control in the ECU. If you really wand faster launches just straight release the brake pedal and smash the go pedal. And hopefully we can get a new video from you too
