# Take these videos as a #learning tool. Always obey the laws of the road and driving conditions.

Please be careful on the roads! Never consume alcoholic beverages before driving. This is the most frequent cause of serious #accidents. If you drink, use a non-drinking designated driver, a taxi, or sleepover.
Follow street signs and traffic lights, but use your judgment too. Don't try to beat red lights. And expect others to try to do so, so give them time to go through, particularly trucks that have trouble slowing down. Always stay at a safe distance from other vehicles. A general rule is the farther you are from them, the safer you are.

When you try to run a red light, there are many grave hazards. You take the risk that someone will turn in front of you (thinking that you must be stopping). Or, when the light changes, someone will pull out from the side and into your path. Or, a pedestrian (perhaps a child) will step out into the crosswalk on the far side. You are probably speeding and are committed to running the light, so the accident will be a severe one. The resulting carnage will be your fault, and you will have to live with it for the rest of your life. Keep in mind here that, it is exceptionally difficult for the other driver, when looking at your vehicle head on, whether your are about to accelerate, stop, or even how fast you are going.
__Buy a #dashcam can save you from a big trouble.

      # Maddin Herberger/Serious DUI crash on IL 137-I was driving down on a Sunday when this guy decides to drive while drunk, and nearly killing himself! Moral of the story: Don't drink and drive. I'm just happy that the guy came out alive after this!

In Germany it is common sense that traffic from the right street has to pass and you´ve to wait. By the way, why are you slowing down with the speed at crossing streets? Avoiding accidents is to look forward and to think for others mistakes. We´ve not so much accidents here. A Dashcam is good and also a black box for cars - which speed, using the turning indicators, etc. - .

@Scott Nyob Seriously, did you not see the same video as the rest of us? He was doing 70 in a 45, it was humid, and there was FOG. Now, you tell ME how in the flying fuck that was the trucker's fault, and I'll gladly sell you some ocean front property in Arizona that I totally own.....

@ffjsb , false, the drinking culture in the Midwest is really fucked up. People were driving drunk all the time and those that weren't abusing alcohol were the Bible thumpers that were fucking little kids and their sisters instead. I lived in the Midwest for several years, it's ridiculous.

That guy at the 7:00 mark should have just went home and got some rest! Because his ass was seeing things didn't happen and didn't have a clue what he was talking about! The idiot in the Toyota ran the red light and hit the Ford, so Toyota was 100% at fault, and neither of them was turning. I can't help but lmao at people like that and wonder how in the hell they themselves got a drivers license!

7:25 pisses me off. Why buy a dashcam, witness an accident, and then upload the clip to the internet, but not help or tell the individuals in question, that you have evidence to support their claim, in the event of fraud? You're an asshole if you witness an accident and continue driving. I have a dashcam now, after my hit and run. Thanks to a good samaritan, they followed the jerk to the casino and called the cops. If you witness and accident or a crime, it is your duty to call the authorities and check on the victim of said crime or accident. If you'd want it done for you, why won't you do it for someone else?

Kind of annoying when you replay and slow-mo clips that don't need to. I can obviously see the guy just run the red light or hit the phone pole the first time.

Was driving to vacation and outside Memphis came across a Mustang wrecked, no lights, slanted across the center line, missing a rear tire, and on fire in that wheel well. Had to jump out and get the dazed and probably drunk woman out of the car, just as a pickup rear ends 2 other cars passing right by us. I get her to the shoulder and go back to try to put on the cars flashers at least, but had to bail before a semi clipped the car right where I was standing. All were fine. The pickup truck, one car, and semi just kept driving.

Am I the only one here who feels like the truck driver pulled out in front of a car ?

If the person wasn’t drinking and just speeding the same thing would have happened. A professional driver knows or should know how to gauge distance and speed and more importantly if it’s foggy or low visibility they are trained to not cross an interception unless they are sure.

    • Wayne Urquhart
Wayne Urquhart In reply to 01GTB Daily

01GTB Daily I think the truck would have crossed safely before the cammer car reached the intersection, so assuming the cammer was doing the right speed, I have to conclude that the crash car was most at fault.

The good thing about living in a mountainous area is MOST of the drunk drivers run off into a ditch before they hurt somebody.
A friend of mine got drunk and put a 1954 Chevrolet off a cliff and into the top of a tree. Then he decided to get out and push...
We had the car fixed by the time he got out of the hospital. The firefighters still call him "pinball"... Don't be like him. Seriously.
Don't drink and drive, kids. Your car doesn't deserve to suffer. Unless it's a Prius. Ask your mechanic berfore killing your Prius.
