This is the only vehicle I've had where the hands free lift gate actually works. Small victory but well done Acura ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿพ I love this car and actually prefer the stiffer handling over the RX 350. But I also wish there was an option to get the A spec look with the Advance features.

No you canโ€™t get the A-Spec option with the Advance option. You can still option black wheels with the Advance model. Thatโ€™s it!

I just bought a 2019 RDX with the Advanced package on Nov 30 after bench-marking the Infiniti, Volvo, Lexus, and BMW same class models and i chose the RDX hands down. I am a power-train engineer at Dana Inc working on similar SH-AWD torque vectoring systems so I was naturally attracted to this vehicle. The power-train, sound system, interior, and most importantly the handling (torque vectoring SH-AWD) are superior in almost every way. The "true touch pad" interface is GREAT after a very short learning curve. For those that are considering the RDX there is a zero per cent chance of disappointment after purchase. I now go out for drives simply to enjoy this machine and I haven't done that in years! I love this car. The sound system is unbelievable and equal to any on the market - total sound immersion in 3D - so clear, clean, and bright and spacial. this is a superior vehicle.

Really appreciate any info you can share..Thanks !!

Am I the only person who thinks gloss black wheels look cheap? Like someone ran to Home Depot, bought some spray paint and went to town......ugh.....this car desperately needs nicer, machined wheels. Actually, if I'm being honest - I don't like gloss black trim of any sort....reminds me of the 80's.....it's also not very 'luxury' or 'upscale', but whatever.....

As the owner of a 2019 RDX Advanced with SH-AWD, this review was spot on. I too wish there was a way of slightly reducing the engine noise when accelerating in the Comfort mode, but it is not an issue. As for the Touch Pad, it only took me a few days to get used to it, and it is far better than the track pad I had in my last car. Overall, I could not be happier with my purchase.

Lamar2081 , the BMW X3 from 2011 was 300hp/300tq and had adaptive suspension, steering , heads up, navigation, all 4 heated seats , keyless entry, power lift gate, adaptive HID headlights that turn when you steer, larger brakes , full panoramic sunroof and more. Acura is behind the game on the transmission as well. Almost bought the aspec TLX but it would not obey the downshift or upshift like our old RDX or my BMW . Their 10-speed is suppose to be better .The bmw is more refined overall and the shifting in sport is crisp and instant, but I do love that my older RDX turbo is still with us and has only needed battery, brakes, fluids.

Why do they need to step it up? They're already producing more horsepower and torque, and have more gears standard than in any the competition from Germany. Do you actually think about things you say?

A standard 272hp / 280 lb-ft 2.0L turbo 4 cylinder and a 10-speed transmission is more than what many others offer in this segment. It's the other that need to step up their powertrain game, not Honda/Acura.
