Rear seat can fold flat if you fold up the seat cushions. There’s a pull tab in the middle of wash side rear seat to pull them up.

Thanks for your review. I recently gave me leased 2016 Ford Escape back and decided to lease a 2018 Ford Ecosport and I really like it. I got the se but it has the heated seats, sunroof, AWD. It took me a little to get use to size wise bc the trunk isn’t as big as the escape but it’s ok. I don’t have any kids so the smaller backseat space isn’t an issue either, I did however compromised on color, I got black bc the dealership didn’t have a lot of color choices on the lot, the normal boring colors of black, grey, silver, white is all they had, I wanted cannon ridge . Also, I always wanted a sunroof and I do love mine but now I realize that with a sunroof comes no light in your car when you open the doors at night, there’s only one in the front and it doesn’t light up the entire car, other than that I’m enjoying it!

We bought a Titanium 3 weeks ago. I love it. I had a Lincoln MKZ that I really like but wanted something smaller. This is so much easier to get in. We are retired and love zipping around shopping etc. My husband still haves his Ford F150. He is tall and is still comfortable when riding with me.

What this car is good for is, if you live out in countries like the Filippines and as those of you who have been there know that the roads there are pretty muddy after a rain, and the cities is flocked with ppl and cars and motorbikes both here and there, so a SUV that is slightly bigger than a Fiesta since they share the platform is a good choice, I drove a Explorer and a Ranger there and it took be a good 2 hours to find a parking for them, and if you also put into account kids and heat then you get a nightmare, even though we had aircon in the car. Then we got this little thing and parking was a thing of the past, sound system was good, so yeah.
But the downside of this, long trips i would go with a bigger SUV or a Sedan like the Mondeo, but for me this coming 2020 I have ordered me a Explorer, why well because it is bigger than the Ecosport ST-line meaning it is also a much more comfortable ride on the long trips, and we tend to travel a lot in the Filipopines when we are there. And ofcourse Fords look good outside in the carport of our new home aswell.
So overall Ford is actually doing many good things right for these Asian countries, do not know about American and Europe, many reviewers think engine and stuff, but then ofcourse the Ecosport falls behind in many ways. In Norway you can get um something they call the Trend as a base model 1.0 125hp then the Titanium 1.0 125hp or 140hp or a 1.5 125 with AWD
then the top model here is the ST-Line witch has two 1.0 Ecoboost engines of 125hp or 140hp and a 1.5 Diesel at125hp AWD. And you can also choose a twotone colour for free we chose the base colour Shadow Black and Tiger Eye.
Don`t know why the models in the America is both different maybe because you are not allowed to use Diesel anymore i dunno, and why the model names is like the S and SES have no idea why. But one thing I do like a lot fro this little car is the soundsystem from Bang Olufsen at 675watts spread over 10 speakers.
But those of you who looks for power this is not the car for you.

Well naturally the back seat looks small, your fronts are all the way back. What are you, 7ft tall? I fit fine in the one I looked at today.

Just bought the 2016 Titanium version , yes there are lights on the passenger mirror , the Titanium also has traction control . Also seats do go flat .

You didn’t fold the rear seats down correctly. They do go completely flat but you left out an entire step.

You got ripped off somehow then. I just left the dealership looking at a Titanium and SES side by side and the SES is by far superior. That or he isnt showing a properly loaded SES here.

I have a Fiesta with the 1.0L ecoboost. It's perfectly fine for that car, but anything heavier is a joke. Not sure what Ford was thinking when they dropped it in this- highway merging for instance will be dangerously slow. Now if they added a turbo to the 2.0L engine in this video, then I don't think anyone will complain as much. These ecoboost engines are great as long as they are in the right sized car.

I have this car and if you put the back windows down on the highway or going fast then 40 it's creates a sound tunnel and will hurt your ears until you crack the front windows someone made a aerodynamic boo boo and they is no way to fix it that I have found it the craziest thing gutta drive it to see

Same thing with my friend's 2004 Malibu MAXX. We think it's due to the nature of wagon-type hatch-backs. All of that air needs to be able to exit out the rear. In the olden days he just cracked the liftgate/tailgate's back window. Not really an option on today's Crossovers.

I think it’s absolutely horrible looking & way under powered, when you consider the base starts at 20 grand wtf it’s a raised fiesta, this is what we have to look forward to since Ford is ditching there sedans.
