This is terrible.. if you want an expensive SUV you could get a Toyota Land Cruiser, that one is worth it's price.. cons of the land cruiser compared to this is the boot space taken by those rear seats and the fuel economy

Everybody keeps complaining like a little bitch on how Audi keeps putting small engines in big cars if the q7 had a bigger engine then your ass is going to be complaining on how many times you have to go to the gas station and not all the time does Audi put small engines in their cars just look at the 2005 Audi A8 W12 trust me it’s not a bad thing for cars to have small engines

Audi want to have more customers in their service. And a 3.0L engine has a too long lifetime for Audi. So owners of 2.0L cars like this would use it for 7 years and at the end engine brokes at 200.000km

I have this car, engine is completely unmatched to vehicle,

Way to much engine noise, just 0 to 50km/h,

Feels like this engine is gonna blow up soon,

Cannot believe how Audi engineered this car this way,

      First time Audi buyer,

      Complete regret

Дуже файний та цікавий автомобіль, відчувається міць та благородство. Дуже цікави лінії у дизайні.

It's very nicely and interesting car, feels power and nobility. Sophisticated design on all lines.

How long will these small turbo engines last?
I remember the times, when we've had engines that could've easily go beyond 300-400k...
I bet thiss little small thing will explode around 150k if you'll drive it in aggressive way.

With how hard these engines will need to be pushed they probably won’t last long. Especially being turbo’d and with long oil drain intervals. But at the same time the intended design works, engine may be small but you are able to utilize 100% of it. What’s the point of having like 400hp in a Escalade when you may only use 60% of the power most of the time?

Honestly before buying this just get the TDI motor. The internals are strong and the torque output is great for it's size which will push a heavy Q7 with ease. At worst, you need to install a catch can system in the diesels to prevent oil/carbon deposits in the intake and intake valves. Because Audi doesn't sell as many TDI models (in North America at least) dealers will discount them quite a bit and the proven fuel savings will make for the slightly higher price than other models.
