New Ford F-150 Raptor - review:

Far too big for the UK, and far too unavailable, the Ford F-150 Raptor is, in the right circumstances, a quite hilarious and surprisingly competent high performance truck to drive. As you’d expect with a Ford Performance-tuned four wheel drive chassis and a detuned Ford GT engine under the bonnet. Steve Sutcliffe takes it for a spin…

I have one in Germany. Driving is easy, parking is tricky and requires some planning.

For all those saying you can't afford one, you can build yourself a raptor clone fore much cheaper. That's what I did.

It is a myth that American vehicles are to big for uk roads, the US build some great motors it’s purely the price of our fuel that hinders them here

It’s as absurd as a ‘63.5 Galaxy 500XL w/427 7.0L side oiler V8 and top loader 4sp trans. Which is to say, it’s remarkable that something this big can move that well.

Love the whole outlook but you couldn’t fuel that vehicle in the North Of Ireland,it’s so damm expensive for petrol/gas. If it had the 3.2 v6 diesel you get in the Ford Ranger Wildtrak then it’s not so bad but unless you’re loaded with money it’s not for you.

I know you have a long line of cars to test but if you can get your hands on a 2019, you will see a huge difference in the suspension and the Recaros. I had a Gen2 2017 and upgraded to a 2019. Huge improvement. And put steering in sport mode. Thanks for your excellent reviews.

Ford is the only American-American mainstream brand, I’d expect nothing less than for this to be a total American beast, if I had the money I’d get one like a shot! 😁

I love these trucks but that audi was holding back for the sake of the video let's be honest. I think a lot of people underestimate modern pcikups most of them handle just as well as most cars. My f150 handles very well I have no complaints with handling.

It's not that it doesn't fit in the English countryside it's that you don't get how to build proper roads

I have the crew cab version here in Canada and it is awesome believe it or not its faster than most sports cars in OEM form. Curb weight 5,000 lbs with a 0-60 MPH in 5 seconds you have to drive it to believe it. That said the Audi RS3 has a 0-60 4.1 Seconds but the curb weight is only 3,586 Ibs so the driver wasn't trying hard.
