I think real jeep fans are willing to put up with "reliability" issues {being a 2017 KL TH owner with ZERO problems) because we know we are driving a legendary brand. I take mine off roading a lot and there's nothing out there which compares to the prowess of a Jeep. It is also great on the highway and the pavement...smooth, quiet and solid.

Really sad they haven't offered the 2.0 turbo in the renegade. Get on it, Jeep.

The trail hawk comes standard with the 3.2 v6 and optional turbo 2.0. Can’t get it with the 2.4 base 4 cylinder
And the 3.2 can tow up to 4500 lbs and the turbo 4 only 4000 lbs. 3.2 is also more durable than a turbo

chad haire we can literally do this all day/night. A package is something you add to the trim level, like technology/Luxury Group or the towing PACKAGE. A trim level (or grades, as they're sometimes called) are simply different versions of the same model with different features and equipment. For example, Jeep Cherokee Latitude, Latitude Plus, Altitude, Limited, TRAILHAWK, Overland, and Trailhawk Elite. These are all trim levels (in the order cheapest to most expensive) of the Cherokee, why is this so hard for you to understand?

Me thinks you have been watching too much Larry The Cable Guy videos. You can play word games all day long...it all comes down to the same thing. You want to buy a Dodge challenger? You get a V-6. Want the 5.7 V-8? You have to order the RT. Want 485 horsepower? You have to order the SRT or SCAT PACK. You want to call the RT, SRT, SCAT PACK a "trim"...go ahead. I want to call it a "package" ALL THE SAME THING. If I had 100,000,000 views I an sure you would be the only one saying this. I bet even Larry agrees with me...

My Cherokee v6 limited averages 26 mpg in mixed driving. 29 on the highway. The 9 speed isn’t perfect but the gas mileage is pretty amazing. Better than the 4 cylinder Camry it replaced.

So true on dirt. I know 2 ladies with tough looking Wanglers, never been in 4x4 mode! Lol. Tough duty is going to the mall? Love in infrared test!! Brilliant! Absolutely amazing difference. Last test I saw black again was around 176 degrees ! Yikes. The tow hooks are to help others get unstuck! Yep about $40k. Wow good news on Nav!! Ha, ha, ha, that phone fits you! That is the Stelvio Guilia engine which is great. I washed the Stelvio, cleaned the dirt shelf, thought about you, Lol. You will make $$$ for turbo 4 in gas mileage. Great review . Your funny !!

I heard they are removing one set of dog clutches for a normal shifting transmission in the lower gears. Don't know if it is fully implemented yet. I'm close to wanting to trade in my Compass. https://www.allpar.com/forums/threads/9-speed-automatic-shifting-improvement.168628/

I have a 2016 and loved it - however I will never ever buy a jeep again. In 24 months since I picked it up - TCU malfunctioned and had to be replaced. Trans skips constantly. Auto start/stop broke. Battery malfunctioned and had to be replaced. Sunroof has been in 3 times for constant rattling and now I have some super odd metal crunching sound every time I break or come to stop. I have had it with the car and jeep in general. They dont seem to really care either. Dealership is so swamped with repairs there is a 3-4 week wait to get it in and get loaner - unacceptable but they said "jeep builds shit and we have to deal with it." Thats from the dealership repair shop manager. No bueno when they say that. Corporate has been just as bad. Warning to all - buyer beware. First delve into Jeep world and I think you are all nuts. Poorest quality build of any car I have ever ever owned. I dont get it. Never had this with Subaru, audi, toyota, VW, honda. This is not a used car. This was brand new from factory - total BS!!!!!!

They supposedly fixed all the issues with the 9sp automatic including the dog clutch, and should be as reliable as the ZF8speed.
